Product Information

Sidi Vertigo Rain Boots

The Vertigo Corsa, Vertigo Corsa Air, Vertigo, Vertigo Air and Vertigo Rain were created after an arduous 2+ year development period with lofty goals in mind. The boots had to push the technology of the sport road boot segment to an even higher level than the legendary Vertebra series. They are designed to be the best, no matter the cost. The Vertigo series of boots has achieved all that and much more!

Features:

Shock Absorbing Heel Cup: Three stage, shock absorbing heel cup molded in three different densities of plastic is one element that sets the Vertigo series apart from all other sport boots. This system offers a built in shock absorbing range of 3mm. The heel cups internal area is also fully lined with impact resistant thousand-air cell memory foam for and extra level of comfort and protection.

Lining: Each Vertigo series boot is lined throughout with lightweight perforated Teflon treated fabric in order to allow moisture to “breath” out to the Lorica outer and dry quickly with no mold build up in the long term.

Replaceable Parts: Every bolt on component of each Vertigo boot is available separately. Riders can change the various components to replace items that have worn or have been damaged in a crash.

Tecno VR System: The Vertigo series of boots are the only race boots to offer a patented Tecno VR adjustable calf system designed to accommodate calves of virtually any size in a clean, supportive and protective design. With a simple adjustment of the Tecno knob the internal onofilament line will evenly close and wrap the boot around the riders calf in micro adjustments for a perfect fit.

Composite Inner Sole: Resists side to side compression offering greater protection compared to the leather inner soles that our competitors use. The insole features a removable arch support and will never lose its dynamic characteristics, even after months of intense use; it is water resistant and is designed to withstand high footpeg pressures.

Gear Change Pad: Molded of DuPont Techno-polymers, which ensure that the plastics qualities will not change in high or low temperatures.

Sole: A dual compound, lightweight, non-slip sole for maximum comfort and safety.

Lorica®: Boot's outer is fully constructed with Lorica, a composite micro fiber less than one thousandth the thickness of silk. When injected with special resins, these fibers act like natural leather skin, but with the addition of better strength, softer texture, lighter weight and better moisture protection. Also highly resistant to abrasion, yet still breathes, with more than three million pores per square centimeter. Easy to maintain, Lorica doesn’t stain and can’t be scratched and offers, reduced weight, more flexibility and more feel than leather racing boots.

Vertigo Te-Por

These are the best fitting boots that I have ever owned. The Te-Por lining keeps everything dry on those rainy days. The adjustable calf system gives you the perfect fit. My original boots are a pair of SIDI Strada Te-Por that I bought in 2001. These Vertigo's are a major upgrade in fit, comfort, and protection. Buy them! You won't be disappointed.

Vertigo Te-Por

These are a great pair of riding boots. I purchased an inexpensive pair, only to return them and buy the Vertigo Te-Por boots. They fit very good, almost as well as my athletic shoes. The details in construction and the replaceable hardware make them worth the extra money. The adjustable calf system is very nice and allows a custom fit, unlike other boots. I have not ridden in the rain with them yet. The only upgrade I may consider is to add more supportive insoles.

Vertigo Te-Por Boot

These are my first pair of real boots for my bike so I can't make a comparison to other boots. These boots fit excellent, great calf adjustment can easily be loosed so when you walk away from the bike you don’t feel like your in ski boots, but hug your foot when tightened for a perfect fit. Very comfortable and I never feel like I’m swimming in them from sweat. Great buy.

Vertigo Te-Por

I just received these boots and they are amazing. They feel just as comfortable as tennis shoes. They feel great on your bikes pegs. When purchasing buy a 1/2 size larger as they tend to fit smaller. I am hooked!

Great!

This is my second set of Sidi boots. They fit a bit more snug than my Corsa Air in width and height but length is identical. They work as promised. They keep me warm and dry, love them! Also, crash tested! They are amazing.

Incredible boots

I read several reviews and saw these were well respected boots. I took the advice of others and ordered up a size and unfortunately had to exchange them for my exact size. No big deal at $6.99 for a return label. Thus, for me, the sizing is spot on, the fit is perfect and these boots are incredibly well made. They are worth every penny. I'm wearing them on a sport touring bike with my riding pants over my boots and they look just fine. They naturally found my shifter and rear brake. They are a great blend of style, function and protection. I'm considering getting a ventilated pair for when the weather gets hot up here. Treat yourself to a pair, you won't regret it!!!

Boots

Love the boot but they do run a size small. Wish they somehow had a venting system and still be waterproof. A little hot after 80 degrees outside temp, but they look awesome and fit very well.

Was I dissapointed

Yes, they are comfortable and water proof. But!!! All I got of them was about 20,000 miles and they were know longer water proof and I wore out the sole at the tip where there is no slider protection. I went to the Oxstar/TCX boots next.
