After having to return 2 sets of another boot, tired this one out. The fit is great, they look amazing and I have gotten several people asking where to get their own Ordered mine a size up, as i tuck things into the tops, and they work and feel comfy all day long

It's good for everyday ride. Satisfied with the fit and finishing. Could use with a few internal compartments/pockets though.

I had a pair of Tour Master boots for 5 years. No problems, loved those boots. But when I got these, they were more comfortable and fit a lot better than those Tour Masters ever did. These Rockets are really easy to get on and off. If you've had boots before, you know sometimes the struggle of pulling those boots off. Especially after a long ride. Not these Rockets. Easy on, easy off. My third day wearing the Rockets I had to ride in the rain to and from work. They got soaked. My feet stayed dry, warm, and no complaints. All the mud and dirt wiped right off and they looked brand new again. Im really happy so far, hope they last 5 years like my old pair.

I just rode in about 30°F with winds at 17mph and my fingers were ok to slightly chilly. So the gloves do work in respect to keeping you warm on cold rides. I had the heat on high. The draw backs are fitting and grip. The palms don't grip well I can feel the throttle slide slightly, the gloves themselves are fairly bulky and the ends don't really go over the jacket. You have to force it over. The battery on the bottom is cumbersome and forget about wearing a watch or anything of that nature. Really the only reason I still give it good marks is that it does keep the hands warm in cold temps.

The jacket is typical Joe Rocket, meaning a good quality jacket for a price that doesn't make you consider wearing your old denim jacket. Expert reviewers elsewhere nailed it when they noted it has more pockets than the old Phoenix model including a electronics pocket with hole for cord (a definite plus). One the con side, the older model had more mess area in the sleeves making it a little more summer friendly. I live in AZ and cut a slot in the sleeve to stay a little cooler on those 110+ days. In the end I purchased the newer model just so that we would have matching jackets. PS All zippers working fine, although loose material on her liner gets into the zipper teeth occasionally. This is a common jacket issue I wished they would learn to fix, thus the 3 star rating for finish.
