this is definetly a bit expensive but ever so worth the price. The adjustable wing in the back really works although I was skeptical before buying it. After a month of full time use I would say given all the features it is underpriced. Sounds crazy until you try it!
The Pro Shade System is great. In the open position for the tinted section you may lock it in place but I use it partially up as needed to dull the bright light as the road changes. I may set up another on a tinted shield for the long desert days. I couldn't be happier. Great price, delivered before expected.
I just got back from a 2,800 mile motorcycle trip- the first since getting the Signet Q and I can't believe how comfortable the helmet was the entire trip. I never once had any discomfort, it was like I wasn't wearing a helmet. I feel this is the most comfortable Arai I have ever had.
I bought this to replace my 10 year old Signet GTR. This helmet has the same great feel and comfort of the old one. It does seem a good bit quieter. I was worried that there would be extra noise when the dark visor is up, but there isn't.
This helmet is spendy, and I wish it came in more color options. That said, it's the best helmet I've ever owned.
When it comes to gear you should get the best possible stuff available. The main reason I went with this helmet aside from the quality is the fit. It is slightly oval and after trying on a dozen helmets, this was the best fit. If you're looking to add communications, I installed my Sena 20 in about 10 minutes. Look I know that an open face helmet at almost $600.00 is an awful lot of money BUT ITS WORTH IT!!!
This is one very nice lid. I was able to attach my Sena without a problem. The visor doesn't give me any problems on the rode. The only issue is fogging up in the cold. That is easily remedied with the upgrade to the pin-lock shield. It is nearly as quiet as my Schuberth and that is saying something.
