Speed Tint worth the $15 bucks!

I purchased the speed tint in late september. My visibility while riding in September (low sun) was starting to be a problem. I do not like wearing shades under my Arai Corsair, helmet and I did not want to go with a full tint screen. This did the trick! For $15 bucks the speed tint dampens the glare and I do not have to ride with my head down to limit the glare or direct sunlight. It also looks kind of cool almost give's the helmet an F1 look. Easy to install and looks to be durable. Money well spent

money saver

Better than buying a smoked shield. The adhesive sticks good if you know how to apply it right the first time. It works like the visor in your car or your ballcap. If you want something wider than this, it serves the purpose, better buy a smoked shield then.

well worth its money

Does precisely what it was designed to do. Nothing more, nothing less. I suppose the redneck repair would be a few lines of electrical tape but why disgrace your high dollar helmet with that when this does a better job and doesn't look absurd.

Fog City-Speed Tint

This is flat-out terrific. Riding west near sunset, especially up and down hills, a small tilt of the head cuts the sun's blinding glare AND you can see the road, even through the Speed Tint strip.

Good product

Ordered this with an open faced helmet. Following the directions I applied it a little high on the visor. It acts like a sun visor in my car and keeps the sun from shining right into my eyes without obscuring the view entirely. Since I wear glasses which darken automatically it is positioned above the line of sight and works quite well.

Excellent product

I purchased the Fog City Speed Tint for my Arai Profile helmet. I installed it quickly and easily, and it works perfectly. I first used it on my trip to Colorado a couple of weeks ago. Since so much of that ride was East and West bound travel, I was concerned about staring into the sun in morning and afternoon riding. This provided the coverage I needed to block the direct sun most of the time just by tilting my head. It works as well as, if not better than, the sun visor on my Nolan N102 helmet that I like so well.

Fog City Speed Tint

I have used similar items in the past that required soapy water for installation and placement. These Fog Cities are a little trickier to install because of the adhesive, but it works really well! Even though it has an adhesive, it is tacky and able to be re-positioned early on before you seat it. I really like this item, and it makes a HUGE difference in your comfort level on sunny days without affecting evening/night vision! Great value as well! Great item!

Definitely helps with glare

I bought one for my wife's Scorpion helmet. She said it helped a lot when the sun is getting low in the sky. Of course, 3 weeks after installing the Speed Tint, she bought a new helmet with a built in sun visor.

Simple and works/looks great

This Speed Tint does exactly what it advertises. I ride 100 miles one way twice a week for college, and I needed something that would keep the sun out of my eyes both in the morning and near sunset. I didn't want to spend $35 on a new tinted shield only to have to carry my clear one for riding at night, and this allowed me to stay with the clear shield for all conditions for only $11!! Get one you won't regret it. Of course I have to say how great is to deal with Motorcycle Superstore as well...they have it all prices, cheap crazy-fast shipping, and customer service.

Speed tint

Have several and helps greatly to reduce the suns glare. They have changed the model and it now glues onto the visor - which means you cannot remove it and use it on another helmet. The previous model just stayed on after wetting it but the price is reasonable so buying a couple will not break the bank.

Fog City + Pinlock = No Blindness

I had a problem with the sun shining in the corners of my shield. I had a tinted pinlock but the space between the pinlock insert and the helmet was in the exact spot to let the morning and evening sun blind me. The Fog City Speed Tint solved the problem. I took an exact-o knife and trimmed it to follow the curve of the pinlock and now I have a fog free, glare free helmet.
