One great product

I bought this unit four years ago and have never looked back. It was easy enough to install in my Corpion Helmet and then my RPHA. It functions very well, connects automatically to my iPhone when I turn the unit on, and has nearly no problems that are not caused by iPhone updates. Those are usually minor. I have to replace the battery, but to get four years and thousands of hours of listening to music, audio books, and podcasts, what can one expect. Yes, you read it correctly. I have nearly 60K riding once I fought the set. Actually, I broke the wire on my battery pack and can't seem to splice it to work, so who knows how long it will last. There is little obsolescence in this set. I bought s second unit one and one half years ago for my girl friend's helmet. We ride a lot together and the communication is perfect. Once both helmets are turned on and the button pushed to connect, they connect flawlessly. The one thing that would be great is to be able to listen to music or books and still talk to each other. You can't do both with this set.

SMH5 Helmet Kit with Wired Microphone

This was my 3rd SMH5 Helmet Kit. I bought the 1st two in 2013, one for me and one for my riding partner (brother). I needed another for a second helmet I bought. Each helmet is fitted with a SMH5 Helmet Kit; I just transfer the main intercom unit from one helmet to the other when I want to change from full face to open face. Piece of cake! They work great.

SMH10 Bluetooth headset/ intercome

Fits good and seams to have plenty of volume. Is clear with little or no static. I haven't had much of a chance to try the Intercom yet . As is I have no complaints.

Love it

I have been using Sena SMH-5 for a full face helmet, but I purchased an AGV Hi-Jack recently. So I got this base set with boom mic. Installation was very easy and it works perfect. Minor issue I had was the Boom mic mounting Velcro became loose in a day or two. But I just glued it to the helmet with "Clear Goop Glue", no problem. In a way, it was good to test with the Velcro mount to adjust height and location of Boom mic before permanently gluing to the helmet anyways.
