Iridium Plugs for my YZ125

I had heard that Iridium plugs made a night and day difference to your bike (and I was very skeptical) till I installed the plug and the bike turned over first kick. I haven't fouled a plug since and the bike runs like its brand new! They are awesome.

Iridium plugs

I have used iridium in my airplane for 20+ years. A lot of planes lead foul horribly (we still use 100 octane w/ lead) and the bottom plugs would fill in with molten lead, regardless of leaning procedures. When I went to iridium plugs, the problem vanished. We also get better performance and WAY more hours out of the iridium plugs. (Champion states "normal" plugs are good for 400 hours, iridium are good for 1,100 hours.) I'm excited to try them in the bike!

Iridium spark plug

I got this for my 2003 Honda CR125R. Definitely worth the money. I use to foul plugs so bad that I would foul a plug every single day so put this plug in after I rebuilt my top end. I have yet to foul this plug and I’ve had it in for about a month in a half, it does cost more than a standard plug but it’s well worth it.
