This works well, if you have the right sized wheel. It doesnt work on my 18" XR600R wheel, but it works on 19" wheels, and works great. A little bit of grinding and it kind of fit the 18" wheel enough to let me get the tire on. Ill probably buy another, and not grind on it, for my other wheels.

This is just a darn handy little tool. It replaces all my home made little tools to keep the bead down. I mount mouses on my bike and use two of these bead buddies and a couple of flat tire irons. The bead buddies stay in place and no worries that they knock out your teeth. The first buddies in my shop that dont drink my beer!!!

First tire I ever mounted and it seems like it helped a lot. Like a third hand.

Won't fit my DRZ400 or TT-R230. Maybe one of these days I'll have something it will fit so will keep it. Product page needs fitment chart.

Worked well on front rims. Had to modify to work on rear rims. Been changing tires for years and was disappointed as how it didn't work on rear. I run an 18 inch rear and noticed others have had a problem with that diameter rim. Will be looking for another brand to try. And yes I have modern dirt bikes. With 3 teenagers and myself with dirt bikes, we go thru tires.

Just came back from an 8 day dirt trip with 5 bikes. We had 7 trailside flats and the Bead Buddy was an essential item in our kit. We had one along and having two in the group would be even better. At home I change around 15 to 20 tires a year with a No Mar tire changer and have added a second one for next season.

A tire change with this simple little device is, dare-I-say, simple! If you change your own tires, quit being a cheapskate, and buy one of these. You'll lose less blood out of your knuckles, tear less of your hair out in rage and frustration, and you won't get remotely as dirty.
