I've had good experience with DID before and expect the same from this chain. Side plates are slightly larger than some of the other chain manufacturers. I don't know if this protects the X-rings a little more but it does seem to add some weight.

I've used all the different chains, RK, Tsubaki, and DID. I've never had an issue with DID. I use steel over aluminum rear sprockets, stock fronts, and DID chains exclusively now. On my Ducati, the last chain was on 4 years, and did not need any adjustment, even through tire changes, I never touch the adjusters. Highly recommended, I wouldn't use anything else now.
Seems to work like a chain...

Yeah, like the other reviewer; DID is a pretty good fit on the quality/value scale. Right now it runs and feels like a brand new chain, because it is. If I were really organized I would have saved this link for 3 years and reviewed this chain when it had 14,990 miles on it. Then this review would mean something.

Have run many a DID chain for lots of miles in the past and the quality and value of this 525 x-ring is no different. Once measured and cut to the right length, installation was easy. Only several hundred miles so far, but expect performance and wear to be excellent.
