Fit is great, the strap does seem a little too close to the neck but only noticeable if tightened hard. The design allows plenty of room around the ears which is good because you will want ear plugs. My biggest complaint would be the wind noise is real loud. I cant compare to other modular helmets but compared to hjc standard full face helmets it is much worse. Air flow is great along with the other features of this helmet. I would buy this again.

Expensive -- yes. Great fit -- yes. Ventilation -- off the chart. Sun shade -- exceptional.
I added an after market quick connect and solved everyone elses strap complaints. One of the better brain buckets out there.

The straps suck. Would prefer quick release. But besides that they are too close to the neck. Air flow is good at high speed. If you’re in traffic doing less than 40mph open the visor.

First modular thought I'd try one and didn't want to spend a lot. Choose the HJC because it has a fiberglass shell which to me is lighter and stronger than polycarb. Fits perfect comes with a pinloc sheild a must in Florida, wind noise but all modulars have wind noise it's a helmet not a hearing protector. Rides good at speed great air flow, good helmet at the $300.00 mark.

Wanted to see if I'd like a modular. I usually wear Shoei but didn't need to spend $600 picked the HJC because it has a fiberglass shell like Shoei. It makes them lighter and sronger then poly. Fits perfect, wind flow is good, pin lock sheild a must in Florida, and the sun shade is cool. Don't think I even need the Shoei now. People say it has wind noice but every modular I tried does I ride with plug or the Ipod anyway. Great modular for the buck.

The helmet looks good, very quiet and great visibly. after receiving it and going for a ride after 20 minutes it was so painful (I wear an XL)it had to come off.The chin bar latch broke (that holds it up)after 2 weeks and the cheek pads fall out.
Superb Helmet, love the convenience features.

I've worn this helmet the past three weeks. The on board sun shield and modular design make it easy to use for a guy wearing eyeglasses. The snug but comfortable fit makes me feel safe, KA forbid I come off the bike in an accident. Value wise, too, I think it's a good deal. m2cw

I purchased this helmet and went for a weekend ride. The good...loved the sunvisor. The bad...shield would not close evenly leaving an air gap along the bottom right side, helmet is very noisy, modular section felt wobbly and flemsy. Returned the helmet to me dealer and they sent it back to HJC to look at. It has been over a month now and still no word from HJC. I will not buy another HJC helmet.

I bought this helmet for my wife. Previously, she had a 3/4, open face helmet because she felt full face helmets were too warm. This helmet has good ventilation, the sunshield is a plus and it's lighter than previous versions. I haven't bought a Chatterbox yet but the compatibility was part of my decision to purchase this helmet.
