Best jacket I know
I bought 4 winter jackets to choose this one. It is fantastic. Had it out on a pretty serious rain without any problem. I believe is very well waterproof. The yellow color is very well visible.

Not waterproof.
I bought this jacket for all weather riding. I ride 45 min to work every day, rain, shine or snow. The jacket keeps you really warm but the problem is that it’s not 100% waterproof. After 30min in the rain, the water starts to slowly get inside your jacket. The other bad thing is that the jacket starts to fall apart after the first 2 weeks of wearing this jacket. First around the hand, I had to glue it back together, then the collar started to go next.

Good Coat
My husband likes this coat a lot. Unfortunately we had to return it for a larger size, the description of how it fits are inaccurate. He should have fit in a 3XL, but had to get a 4XL because he couldn't move in the 3XL.

Great coat!
I purchased the ICON Patrol jacket in Hi-Viz Yellow in Nov 2011. It's the warmest coat I've had and ICON continues to to bring great products to market.
I recently did a memorial ride and the morning temps were in the 20's then warmed up into the 60's later in the day. The ICON Patrol jacket was warm all day, I could have taken out the liner as the temps warmed up, but didn't and was fine.
I haven't had it out in the rain yet but I'm confident it will perform as advertized.

Good fall, winter, spring.
I like this coat a lot and don't regret one cent, would buy again. Thoughtful details and well designed, cuts the wind, nice rain skirt, draws at bottom, warm, neck works good with out choking, easy to wear a full coat heated liner underneath, and easy to put on and take off. It's a great coat and I'm grateful to have it. The patrol gloves are awesome with it, going to get the bottoms as well.

Best winter jacket money can buy!
I bought a (yellow) Patrol jacket and (black) patrol boots in early December 2010 to provide protection against the harsh and wet Winters we get here in the Seattle area. Make no mistake - this is a FANTASTIC jacket! I wasn’t originally planning on buying another winter jacket as I already have a Tourmaster Flex2 jacket and originally came to the site looking for a thin waterproof jacket to go over it. However, after seeing the Icon jacket and then watching the video on the icon site I was sold as the Icon Patrol jacket offers a number of benefits over my Tourmaster: It’s entirely waterproof and windproof; the high-viz yellow looks great and nobody will be able to claim they didn’t see me; It’s vented front and back (the Tourmaster Flex2 has no vents on the back so tends to balloon!); pockets galore. You can never have too many pockets. Also, the high-necked collar means I don’t have to wear a turtleneck protector; the build quality is fantastic; and the camelback drink backpack is a great idea that’ll come in very handy on long rides. So stop procrastinating - go buy one now - you won’t regret it! :)
