Love it so far!
Not the perfect helmet, but the price for the features are worth it. Size is spot on. On a touring motorcycle with aftermarket pipes and full wind screen, I can hear traffic approaching from the rear, giving me a better and complete awareness of my surroundings. However, without a wind screen, speeds from 15 and beyond, you can hear wind pass over the helmet, yet there is no buffeting, stable at speeds, and cuts through the wind easily. The noise isn't anything that I haven't had with other helmets, and the functions are more than I had. 5X5 stars. Buy it, you know you want to.

Bell "Revolver" Motorcycle Helmet
I bought this helmet for it's features and price and am very happy with it.
I used the recommended size from the chart (Large) and fit is perfect.
I ride 30 miles to work and it has been 32 degrees at 6am. The antifogging shield works excellent.
No fogging or even a hint of fogging, and this is with the shield all the way closed.
The built in drop down sun visor works great and does a terrific job of keeping the sun toned
down. I also like the magnet on the end of the chin strap to hold it from flapping.
Only complaint is the plastic smell. It was too strong to wear the helmet until I washed it
with soap and water iinside and out.

Bell Revolver Helmet
This is a great helmet. The only problem is I wear glasses. When I put the helmet on with glasses on the glasses get knocked off my head every time. Once the helmet is on, I can't just slide my glasses on, I have to force them down behind my ears. If I don't force the glasses on, they will fall off. Once the helmet and glasses are on, the helmet is perfect, comfortable, quiet (no wind issues for me). But it is a pain to deal with every single time I put the thing on.

A great choice !!!
Sizes (in Bell helmets) looks smaller S, cause I bought first a M size that doesn't fit me easy, so a changed for a L size.
Beautiful and neutral appearance. Both shields are effective UV filters and anti-fog even in very dry conditions. The best helmet choice with the lowest price!!

Bell Revolver - The best!
I've been using it for a month now and the fit of this helmet, air flow, looks and comfort is the best. It's fit is normal and provides great visibility. It has a lot of replacement shields of different colors being a brand name helmet. Only thing is that the opening mechanism is plastic, but so far it's been OK.

At 45% off this helmet is a steal. Excellent quality and features for the money. It is a bit heavy but it is solid and comfortable too. A quick connect chin strap would be another big plus but the D rings work OK just a little slower to get hooked up.

Awesome helmet. It’s my first full face. Love the styling, the comfort, and the look. Only downside is, the magnet on the end of the strap came off due to snagging on the strap clips every time I took it off. I had to sew it back in place. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say about it whatsoever. Well worth the money I paid for it. I highly recommend buying this helmet.

Bell Revolver helmet
I had read most of the reviews and had decided against purchasing this helmet, but the sale price I got made up my mind. Had it not gone on sale, I wouldn't have bought it. The helmet is a good one for the price I got it for. All the features it has, as it is advertised, are true. I mainly use it for errands around town, but for major trips I don't change my Shoei Multitec. This Bell Revolver is a low cost, well-built inexpensive helmet.

Disappointment
I've worn a Bell 8 helmet for 6 years and thought it was time to upgrade. I received the Revolver and loved everything about it from the color (yellow) to the fit and features. You can imagine my disappointment when I found it was too wide to fit in the compartment under the seat of my Yamaha Majesty scooter. Reluctantly I had to send it back.

Great Helmet at a Great Price
I owned 2 helmets prior to purchasing the Revolver and wanted a modular without spending $300-$500 dollars. There is some wind noise but for $99 dollars I am very satisfied with the helmet. The flip-up function allows me to wear glasses wear as I would only ride with contacts. The built-in sun visor works great as well. The matte finish is very cool.

Hi Viz Yellow Bell Revolver Helmet
I really like this helmet. The flip down sunglass shade really helps during dawn and dusk hours. I would have to stop to remove or put on my sunglasses before. The revolver flip up is great also. Makes it real convenient to scratch a nose or run in to a convenient store without having to remove your helmet. The anti-fog shield actually works also. I no longer have to use anti-fog spray-ons.
Last but not least, I love the design and the Hi-Viz color helps to be seen in traffic.

Fit -- size chart got it right for me; no loose spots or pressure points. Excellent airflow and aerodynamic stability. Flip-up front is very handy; easy to use, felt solid. Click-release shield is a real winner. Downside -- the instruction manual says NOT to use any rain-proofing compounds on the shield, and doesn't say what products are safe to clean it with.

My wife bought one of these helmets to use on her Spyder. She paid $199.00+ tax. I haven't used a full face helmet for 30years, but on adding an oldSV1000S to my stable, thought I ought to get a helmet which did not try to push my goggles up my nose. Got the same helmet as my wife for $99. How can you go wrong?

Perfect for my needs
Fine scootering at 35 mph, but deadly streets: Double-parked cars opening doors, pulling out, and ignoring lanes; unmarked pavement holes. Vortex a pain to get on and off. Revolver nice for fresh air at lights or off bike.
Re noise: much prefer hearing cars from behind earlier than in a soundproofed model. I use thinnest "45 mm" cheek pads to avoid squishing face and glasses. The stock thickest is 35, middle 40.
Bell: make cheekpad sizings intuitive.

Not everyone's deal, but great!
His helmet is loud and is not built for tours across the country. I use it for street crusing and riding Colorado mining streets. Gives you the freedom of a half helmet with the safety of a street helmet. It is better to ride this helmet open than close, it sounds like echo when closed. For the price this is a real good buy. Also the sun shield works great. The fit is smaller than other helmets I had, but for me it was just right. If you like half helmets you will love this one!

Really like the appearance and features. Not satisfied with the quality it built (some parts are not fitting snugly, but water isn't coming in). About noise can't say anything presently, should try it couple of times more.
I bought it because the overal appearance when it open - other helmets looks like welder masks :) This one, when it open looks like visor. Price and shipping are good. Buy chin curtain, or you'll suffer from wind and noise. Here it is less expensive.

Very glad I purchased this helmet! Have always wanted a modular helmet and this one does everything I need. The pop down sunshield is great and the regular face shield works well too. I love to price/features of this helmet. its perfect for around town, commute... I took it 2200 miles from MD to daytona FL on my klr. My scala fit in after some minor modifications, fit well, once broken in a bit. It may be the noisiest helmet ive ever used and ive had other modulars. the trip was insane with the noise. Best helmet EVER
I honestly have to say this is the best purchase I made apart from my bike. While having the pecadillos noted by the video reviews I found online, it’s as close to revolutionizing the modular helmet market as it gets. The fit is perfect and tight. The 50% off with buying last year's model made it such a steal. I'm too poor to get the current year's model, though I'm sure it warrants its price tag. Also, love the high visibility yellow. There is no excuse to miss me in traffic!

I finally got to use the helmet for a ride. Before buying I read the reviews and bought the wind reduction kit for 10.00, why not after saving 100.00. I had no problem with high wind noise at any speed (75+) very little movement with a high cross wind. Now the glasses, yes you have to put the helmet on without them but they slide right in at the indentation between the cheek pad an main pad then I pushed them in position. The size was a guess in a Shoei I wore a small but a bell in a medium.

I was initially concerned by the horizontal roll at the base of the neck but having worn it in I think this fits wonderfully.
It does great on 40 degree mornings - often little to no fogging up.
The only two gripes:
The noise level is high even at 45mph.
The sun visor is either warped or was installed off-kilter.
But... a wonderful buy for $99. Would do it again without question. Hi-vis yellow, no fog, sun shades even when I wear glasses. It's great.

Comfortable with nice fit. Going by other reviews I ordered a size larger( from L to XL). Finish is nice also. I ride naked bikes and the air flows and leaks a bit with lots of noise if you dont wear ear plugs. I do so its not bad at all but without it is very loud. The sun visor is not dark enough but will later get the transitions type sheild I here that helps. so I gave featurs a 4. For the price its great!

This is my first modular, couldn't pass it for the price! My only complaint is, since the tinted visor is retractable why not make it darker so it helps when riding into the sun better, it's not like it's the only visor to where you'd have to carry a clear one with you if riding all day. I'll probably be purchasing the light sensitive outer shield for this helmet to help more.

Perhaps after wearing it for a while the fit will "break-in" and feel better. I always wear a medium and this feels fine at first but a little tight on top of head after riding a while. Features are excellent...

Great Helmet!!!! Buy it now!!
This helmet was the perfect addition to my honda shadow...Idk what the deal is with the others that bought this but just do yourself a favor and go by the measuring chart to figure out what size you need. I did so and have a great snug fit. it is definitely a great buy considering the cost and look and you can't go wrong with this modular design. Bell did a tremendous job with their first take on the modular world.

the cost and features are outstanding. this the noisiest helmet I've ever owned. I have a Leo Vince exhaust on my 650f Suzuki and could not hear any thing but air noise after 20mph. It fits tight on my large oval head but that didn't stop the air noise from every where. I wouldn't recommend this helmet except for the price. I didn't save the box so no chance to return it.

Excellent Helmet and Value!
Great helmet! Only complaint is the stitching in the head top pad. It caused minor irritation after about 100 miles. Not a showstopper. Eliminated it with a Silk liner. What’s the fuss about noise? Could be the fit for some. Mine fits nicely and I don't get much noise above other brands I own (HJC and Shoei). The quality is great too. All works and fits together well. Finish (Silver) is beautiful and the chin bar axles and latches are more hefty than my HJC.

Great features for the price. Really like the flip down tinted visor. Looks good and very comfortable. Not very heavy duty, but great value for the price. 1st motorcycle helmet, so nothing to compare against, but have owned Bell bicycle helmets for years and trust them. Full-face protection is great, flip up option is awesome... would actually pay MORE for this feature, so helmet is a great value. A bit on the heavy and klunkish side, I can live with it. Noisy? Ear plugs... Nice job Bell.

Great helmet for the price
For the price it is hard to complain about the helmet. That said, if I could pick some areas to improve, I'd say add a chin skirt. If you wear a snug large in the vortex, a large in the revolver will be more relaxed fit--but still just about right. The flip down shade occasionally gets caught on the shell, but you can retract it after tapping the shade from the front.

Good Helmet at a Fantastic Price
I bought this for my father for Christmas. He's going from a Nolan Modular helmet to this one. The main thing he liked about this helmet was the look. He thought it had more of a modern look and features. Likes the flip down sun shade but not sure what it's going to be like riding with it since it kind of bounces around a bit. Overall extremely happy with the quality.

good for what you get
Like the helmet. The modular aspect appealed to me the most because I have been looking for one at a reasonable price. Couldn't beat it for $89.00! Fit is good, although having the chin bar so close seems weird, because my full face had more distance from the bar to my chin. The chin strap sits really tight to your neck, so wear it a little looser than you think. Overall, good for what you get.

I love this helmet but it is falling apart after two weeks
Great helmet, great price, fast delivery. Pulls right over my glasses with the helmet open. The tinted drop down visor works great riding right into the morning sun. It is quieter than my previous cheap helmet. Fog control is good but not great below 32 F. Shield works well. Got it 11/30/2011 and there is a piece falling off in the front. Worked great in the rain. A little cold below 32F but not bad. Great fit.

Fit is snug until worn a bit. Anti-Fog is good. Wind noise minimal (very good). No wind drag at all!!...Yes! Aerodynamic. Drop down lenses need to be much darker. You can wear sun glasses under drop down lenses. Wish Shield fit helmet better above temples. It would be completely free of any wind noise. Only notice this when turning head.

Everything moves firmly, clicks tight easy and can be operated with one hand. I main thing I was worrying was heat during the summer but I was really surprised the air flow is perfect. It is really pleasure riding with this helmet. Highly recommended. One advice - if you are preparing for new season check the price as usually you can get some nice deals on the end of the season ... I bought my helmet on July for $215 and on November I bought another one for my wife for $104 ! Nice huh ?

Love it with one exception
My only complaint (get this out of the way early) is that it presses against the back of my neck unless I shift it around a bit. Rode with it for a week or so to break it in. Then used it for a weekend (short) ride of about 700 miles to a small rally. On the ride we had temps up into the high 90's, down into the low 50's and even driving rain. It performed well in all scenarios. I've always liked Bell helmets, this worked as I expected a Bell to work. Good helmet, great value.

Well made helmet for an acceptable price.
The revolver meets quite a few daily riding needs and does so without any major flaws, which is a massive plus in my book. The only small issues I have with the helmet lie in the front logo which is painted on instead of being just an easily removed sticker, along with snapping darker shields on without taking twice the time as the clear ones. Other than those, the helmet is genuinely a great design.

Nice fit - correct size for cranium. A little windy. Wish it had more chin and lower jaw padding support. A racheting quick release chin strap like my Schuberth C3 would be better, but for the price the D ring strap with magnetic holder is fine - a padded chin strap would be more comfortable.

Very pleasantly surprised. I couldn't pass up the $79.99 price on cyber monday. It is as quiet as my Shoei Multitec. The chin bar fits very close the way I like it. It should keep my in-helmet mic from activating from wind noise under my chin. The only problem I have is with the d-ring. It is so far up in the helmet I have trouble working it. Will fix that with a snap connector. This helmet is as good as any $300+ flip up on the market and better than most.

I love the looks of this helmet. I have a fat head so I ordered the xxl and it fits well until I close the front. It then gets a little tighter and puts two pressure points on my forehead and then the forehead is sore for a day. Air flow is great. The cost was reasonable. Its a great economical helmet. The patented magnetic strap holder is a cool design, but the cloth that covers it started coming off the third time I used it. They need to put a better cover on the magnet.

Best bang for the buck bar none!
Sizing chart was spot on. I was a small medium oval and this was a tight but perfect fit. Easy head checks at low speeds. I'm an easy rider so 3/4 tuck is the most I'll do but this lid seems to prefer it. If you ride sporty and relatively fast then this is for you. Finishing details leave me wanting but good enough for the class of helmet. Unbeatable for feature set. Try to find another modular with visor and vents at this price range. Could be lighter but otherwise a recommended buy.

Excellent value for the money. Doesn't interfere with my glasses even when lowering the sun shade. A Tad on the heavy side, especially if you're used to an open face helmet, but not objectional. The cheek pads are a little tight for me, especially on a long ride but I'm going to be ordering some thinner ones. They're very reasonably priced and a snap to change. I would buy this product again. You can't go wrong with a Bell.

Set your expectations right and the Revolver will be an awesome helmet.
The Revolver's a great helmet especially at the close-out price. The biggest complaint that I've read about is the apparent noise levels at speed. Maybe I'm just used to loud helmets, but the wind noise isn't that bad and was comparable to my Arai. I also had ZERO wind buffet throughout the test ride, which was pretty surprising. The helmet's definitely not designed well for glasses. Ask me how I know. Hopefully some break-in time might help me get the glasses in a more comfortable position.

Cool Helmet
I've been riding with open faced helmets for 20 years, so I can’t compare/complain about air noise. It certainly wraps your whole face tightly in padding, & that feels a little odd to me, but I’m trying to get used to it. Love the flip up face, certainly a lot safer than my half helmet, and that's the bottom line...

I'm a large/medium, large was huge, medium fits. It came with chin curtain and has speaker pockets. It's NOT overly noisy. Latch can be finicky-mechanism is metal, inner shield switch is great, inner could be darker. The face shield is not real watertight, drips a bit in direct rain but it has not fogged once in the cool morning. The chin strap is too far back. Worth the price and the electric yellow is really loud! Friend says I look like an ocean buoy, maybe the cages will see me better.

First Bell I've owned since the mid-70's (had a Bell Star back then). Bought this one because of price and for the money it's a great helmet. Size (xl) was right on track with the other brands I've owned. Yup, it's really loud. Seems to be a lot of air going by the hinge areas of the helmet causing wind noise. Still for a hundred bucks, it's a lot of helmet. I'm going to make it work.

The flip up face works good. The inner flip dome sun shades works good. BUT come on it is way too light in tint! Other than that a great but for an inexpensive flip up helmet. Bell: a name in solid, safe Helmets I have trusted for years!

This is a great helmet if you ride a cruiser with a windshield. On a street bike at speeds above 30 MPH the helmet became uncomfortably noisy. It is a beautiful helmet and the sun shield is a plus. The flip face helps with taking/placing a call without having to take off your helmet or when talkin to a buddy. Overall, it’s an ok helmet if you need one to get riding but strapped for cash.

Buy it. Nice, practical, inexpensive helmet. It doesn't exude quality like some helmets do, yet works very well.....meaning, if you are trying to impress your gear snob buddies, look elsewhere but all the features make sense and work fine. Superstore was fast and easy too.

This helmet is a good helmet for the price. The air flow is a slight problem but, it's not too major. The design and features are great. If I were to buy another helmet I would probably buy the new design due to the improved features. Do not take it the wrong way, this helmet is still a great buy.

After riding for 20 years with half helmets I decided to try out a modular so when I found this bell for an outstanding price. I figured I would give it a try. Now I’m convinced I should have been wearing this type long ago. I liked it so much I ordered one for my son who is 7 the extra small will fit him. I ordered the rally style he liked the stripes, in his words mine is cooler than dads.

I have been riding for 44 years and and have raced and owned Bell Helmets for years. I may need to take a closer look at my new Bell. I get dust in my eyes while riding. It is without a doubt the loudest wind noise helmet I have ever owned. I need to look closer to see if anything is assembled incorrectly. Dust in my eyes while riding is unacceptable.

Bell Revolver Helmet
The measurement for the fit was for medium, I went with large like all my other helmets and it fits fine. The only thing I found wrong is the chinstrap sits so high up it was difficult to attached. Quick fix was attach quick connect which made buckling quick and easy. Airflow is what you get, a bit of noise. I like the helmet and it's features.

Attractive Modern Design
Overall, the helmet has a great look and good ventilation. The built in sun visor is the main reason I bought the helmet for its price. Negatives are the excessive wind noise (my Scorpion modular was more quiet). I like the idea of a magnetic strap end, but the magnet is thick and gets caught in the metal loops, and came off after 3 times I wore it. I was able to repair it by hand sewing the magnet back onto the strap.

Fantastic value for someone wanting an inexpensive modular helmet
Gorgeous helmet. Fit and finish is slightly lacking. Don't get the wrong impression, I liked this Helmet a lot. The sun visor works and is clear without any distortion, but it's not very dark. The chin strap has a tendency to twist if your not careful when putting it on. The venting is adequate. Read many complaints about the noise and did experience it myself. It was easily remedied by removing the cheek pads which have snaps, and filling in the internal speaker wells with cotton batting.

Good Product for the Money
I bought two of these about 1 month apart (me and wife). I ordered an XXL but still had to do some "fitting" (internal foam sanding). As I wear glasses, I also removed some of the foam from the top of the cheek pads to allow room for glasses to go on and off with helmet on. For the price, this is a great deal. If I had paid $250, no way I would have done anything except return it when it didn't fit. BTW. wife's helmet..no issues at all fit, function was all perfect.

Good for the Price
I ride a dualsport.
Pros: comfortable with great features
Cons: wind noise is ridiculous; air that comes in around the chin area is too much to handle in cold weather.
But for the price I'm happy with this helmet. In the summer the extra air let in the chin area will be nice. I like not having to remove the helmet when trail riding to take a drink from my water bottle.

If this helmet is the standard of current production, fit & finish, of a western design in China, well, I don't know whether to be pleased or concerned! I have a 'Bell' type head, so a good fit. But this Mod is an absolute giggle: high tech, high quality, high value.
The hi viz yellow is a bit more green than I wished, but still goes well w/my yellow Sliders jacket.

Noisy at highway speeds, but perfect for cruising around the back roads. overall terrific... but
Two minor complaints... wind noise and internal sunshade. I'm less concern about wind noise as it does appear louder than my iCON, or AGV, but wish Bell would make the internal shade switchable. The road I ride to work is straight into the sun in the morning and straight into sun when I come home... What I ended up doing was to add some window tint film on top of the current tint. This helped, but I think it would be better if I could select a darker internal shade that is OEM.

Very Satisfied
Fits well. Slight forehead pressure after a couple hours, but better with use. I normally wear L to XL and L works fine with the Revolver. Chin latch issue w/ first helmet, but MCSS replaced it quickly with no problems and no shipping. Replacement helmet works great. Could use a chin dam to limit air flow in colder temps and noise. Plastic front vent easily knocked out of position, easily fixed. Chin latch secure yet easily opens/closes. Would prefer quick release strap over D-Ring.

Great first modular helmet
Got this to go through the BRC. It was great during the course as the mornings were cool, but by lunch, it could get warm on the range. Was nice to flip it up during non-riding periods and not have to take the helmet completely off. Can't talk about wind noise as we never really got over 25 MPH. Before I ordered, I looked at a similarly featured and priced Bilt helmet at the local shop. The Bell seemed better made from what I could tell in pictures online. Thoughts confirmed when I received it.

I really like the Bell Revolver. It is a little noisy, but not from the seal of the lift up part of helmet. It seems to come from the bottom. I wear ear plugs so it isn't an issue. Nice Helmet
I actually like the leaky airflow as this is the first modular helmet where I don't have to open the shield to prevent fogging in cold and rainy weather. Helmet is huge and heavier than my previous helmets. Needs the quick-release button/buckle helmet strap on my old helmet. I hate the old fashion D-rings as it is difficult to get the magnetic end of the strap out of the rings... However, for the price paid through Motorcycle Superstore, the Bell Revolver was a really good purchase.

This is one very cool looking helmet. It feels good, light weight and very convenient to use on those hot days of riding.

Bell Revolver: I can’t believe it’s a flip up!
So I just received my Bell Revolver Modular helmet and I must say for $199 I was super impressed with the overall fit and finish and the superb styling. This thing is loaded with features, inner sun shield, open close brow, top, and chin vents. The Revolver uses the same shield as the Bell Star race helmet, so you know the shield is top notch. Also I must mention the ease of shield removal and re-attachment…by far the easiest I have ever experienced.
The fit is excellent I am a large (7 3/8) and the bell large fit perfectly right out of the box. I have only ridden with the helmet a few times but it was very stable at all speeds and easy to flip up the front, when I was in town, or stopping to talk to my friends.
I think this is Bell’s first modular helmet and they knocked it out of the park for real! The Revolver styling looks better than a lot of standard street helmets out on the market. When the helmet is in the closed position you almost need to double take to make sure it is a flip up type. Anyways if you are in the market for reasonably priced good looking flip-up you cannot go wrong with the Bell Revolver.

I really wish this helmet fit my head. REALLY
I got mine today and was really impressed. It looks great, feels light and looks like it has some really cool features. I tried it on and it just didn't fit, front to back it felt too short. But I really wanted this helmet so I took it for a short ride. I confirmed that I really wish this helmet fit me. It was nice and smooth on the freeway. A little noisy but no worse than my Arai XD3. It was also really cool at slower speeds to ride with the sun visor down but the main visor up. Great summer ventilation!!! The face shield is amazing, possibly the best I've ever looked through. It was so clear I felt like I wasn't looking through a shield. It also would NOT fog up. Riding home in the dark there were no distortions or starbursts. The shield alone makes this helmet worth it. But the fit was worse the longer I wore it. In addition to pushing my forehead, the neck roll dug into the back of my neck. My head is clearly an oval with the long axis front to back. I fit my Arai XD3 very well, my Corsair fit great and my dirt helmet is Shoei which feels like it was made for me. One other minor criticism I had was with the sun visor, it is either up or down, nowhere in between. I would have liked some adjustability as sometimes when I would hit bumps in the road the sun screen would tap my nose. If this helmet fits you, I think you'll be very pleased, especially at the price.

Helmet fits ok, still kinda new and I have other helmets to wear-might fit better with a few more rides. Looks great in the matte black. Slight distortion through the clear lens. Not the easiest to wear sunglasses with, but not really necessary with the flip down sun visor which works excellent. Flip up front works very well and easy to do with one hand open/close. There is more wind noise than a regular helmet. I don't wear for high speed rides/sustained speed; off-road/ADV only for me...

This is my 2nd Modular Helmet. I was attracted to the Bell Modular because of the name/looks. Over 60mph you can get in a groove with the wind by leaning forward slightly. Great price on a modular. Helmet is L-O-U-D. Earplugs are a must with this helmet. The loudest helmet I have ever owned. Not sure how this helmet will be on a 500 mile tour. The airflow is really good except when cold. Have yet to try it in the rain. Visor and shield work great. Chin area is hard plastic which is very close to the face. Not a lot of room in the front. Visor latch mech works perfect. Magnet for strap retention should be on every helmet. Quick release would be better.

As others have said it's not perfect, but it was cheap and it fits really well. Been wearing it for about a month now, the magnet has already ripped loose and it never really held too great in the first place. The air flow is a little too good for the winter, I might have to get the neck flap next year for it. Also it was painful on the ears to get the helmet on and off until the padding broke in a bit. I do find the sun shield is just right, not too dark not to light.

Great price obviously. Very nice and seemingly well made helmet (although I just got it). Everything functions well and the internal visor is cool if not very dark. Magnet on the strap is also a nice touch. However, I could touch the chin bar easily with my tongue if I wanted to and the sizing runs small. Overall good...
This helmet is great, it even has a little tinted moveable eyepiece inside that slides up into the helmet when you aren't using it... but the very edge of it hangs at the top of my field of vision when I'm not using it. Kind of annoying. This helmet lets a lot of air through and is a little noisy but only above 50mph. I ride a scooter so it’s fine.

Very noisy, poor visibility
Chin curtain kits did not help much, very noisy, unbearably so. Far worse than the reviews here and elsewhere led me to believe. Noise comes up from the bottom.
Poor visibility as well, the chin bar is quite wide, cannot see the gauges without tilting my head down and reducing road visibility.

I ordered a medium for passengers, but it is tighter than my other small helmet. I think it should actually be sold as an extra small. I like the helmet a lot. Just be sure to order much bigger than you normally wear.

Loud
After 2 months of use: Cheap helmet, fits tight at first but loosens up after a few weeks. It's just so darn loud, I have to wear ear plugs whenever I use it. The face shield gets scratched very easily and fogs up in the rain. Would not recommend it.

Great value
Over all a nice helmet. I bought two of them one for me and one for my wife and we rode cross country. Only two complaints. 1) this helmet is very noisy compared to my other modular. 2) I wish the sun visor was a little darker shade and had adjustment notches so the thing doesn't ride right on my nose. Over all for the cost. Get what you pay for.

Not for big heads
After reading some reviews about issues with big heads fitting in this helmet, the price was too good not to try. Being I prefer mine snug, I decided to order by the fitting guide from Bell (XL). Sure enough, much too small. I shipped it back and used the 10% coupon in the box on my next helmet. Tried the XXL and it was marginally bigger and still way too small. FYI: I wear a size 7 3/4 fitted baseball hat.

Bell Revolver helmet
I purchased this helmet for ATV riding so the problem with air above 65mph is not important. Helmet fit snug with the sides in and when i removed them it was to loose. Nice helmet for the money. I purchased this on sale and then 3 days later they lowered the price again on special. I tried to get a refund of the difference but they would not work with me. So watch before you buy!!!!!!!

A bit noisy
This helmet is made in China and is colored plastic. I waxed mine and it got glossier. The sun shade works surprisingly well, as does the fog shield. The clear visor operates smoothly and stays down when I turn my head at highway speeds. I'm not a fan of the magnetic strap retainer, but it works well enough. I've had some problems with the lower half not locking into place, but I think it will get better as the padding breaks in.

love this helm
I like the helm a lot, it is currently my favorite winter hat. i ride year round in all weather conditions. it was a size small which i took into account before ordering. so far i haven't noticed excessive noise like others. but my hearing is not great. so take that as you may. my only complaint is the sun shade is so light in color that it is less then useless. which is extremely unfortunate, if it was darker and functional then i could leave sunglasses home.

Great price on a great feeling and fitting helmet but with no chin curtain this is the loudest helmet I've ever worn. I will install one from another brand to eliminate the "Hurricane" in my head that this helmet creates. I like it too much to return it if I can put a $10 fix into it.

Nice helmet
I like the helmet, no regrets. I agree with everyone that the helmet is noisy, but I've never owned a quiet one. I wish the chin bar had some padding, it would be more comfortable and reduce the noise. I really like the flip down visor, although I wish it was more heavily tinted. The best is the modular design. Being able to flip up the face mask at stop lights or to talk or put glasses on and off is key. The fit chart was accurate for me.

Bell Revolver sounds like bell guns
Just tried out my Bell Revolver in the city and highway. EXTREMELY loud, I love this helmet, looks, price, comfort, weight but the noise is intolerable, if I would have known how loud it was I guess I will try out some king of extra sound suppression foam around the ear cutouts it has a very high pitch noise whistling noise, Bell has to do something about this good and safe ridding, BMW R1150R.

Almost a great helmet
I was very excited to finally receive the new Bell Revolver (Black w/ white stripe), however, compared to my bell Star Viper, it's a 3 stars out of 5. One, it's extremely noisy with/without vents open. I tracked down the noise to be caused by a lack of a chin guard (per Bell Star). Two, the sizing is a bit off... by about a half size. My small is between a XS & a Small. This could be countered by some variable sized cheek pads (per Bell Star). The good is it's a very nice sporty helmet (compared to my Nolan 102) and it is lightweight (no neck strain). Bell could've done better with this price point.

Bought for modular design and internal visor. Disappointed by the fit (way to tight for a 2X). Very uncomfortable! Helmet is noisy. Shield doesn't lock into position, and blows open at speed. Quality & fit
The quality seems good, looks to be well made, good padding, but don't care for how the sun visor works. The helmet fits tight, had to send the first one back, because even using the fittment chart the medium was to tight for me, even the large is pretty tight. To bad the helmet doesn't have a blue tooth pocket. For the price it is a very good deal. I probably will be using it as a second or backup helmet.

Loud, windy, painful, poor quality. I have worn it for the last time (4 times total) got a free helmet with my new bike and it is better quality. I do not have the box so I will have to keep it or throw it away. Sun visor now slips down an inch and is partially in my field of vision. Only 2 hours riding time on it. This helmet looks good, but is nothing spectacular. I curbed some of the wind noise by inserting foam into the speaker cutouts. It is still crazy loud.
The chin bar is very close to your face, almost touching it really. It doesn't compare in quality to my FF Shoei RF1100, but will make a good backup helmet for the sale price I paid for it. It's okay and better than a kick in the junk.

low speed vs. high speed riding is the question...
I’ve put 250km on this helmet and on short rides that don't go faster than 70km/h. Pros: a great helmet, fit is awesome, shade visor works well and looks amazing. Cons: sealants for visor and modular part don't all make contact. Leading to my high speed rating. At speeds higher than 70km/h there a high pitch whistle/ scream that gives me a huge headache.

better than expected
I like the features: the internal sun shade, magnetic strap, speaker pockets, removable/washable liner, and when compared to other modulars on the market, the Revolver (IMO) is the nicest looking. The fit was comfortably snug however my mouth felt pressed up against the front chin part of the helmet. I don't notice the noise in this helmet like other reviewers have mentioned. I have the chin curtain so I'm guessing that helps. What got me to buy this helmet though was the price.

Cons, the sunshade is a bit long, and rubs my nose. The face shield fogs up on the right side when temps are in the 20s. Needs a chin guard in the winter.
Pros; Styling, Price,
I ride year round. This is more of a summer helmet. Definitely designed for a more forward riding position than I use. My bike has mid controls so I ride upright. Would be a good sportbike helmet. As a second helmet, it's ok. Won't be replacing my Nolan as my main helmet though.

Good and bad. Not worth it.
Nice appearance, good price, but disappointing product quality. The air-noise is very severe. I was able to use black tape to help insulate the edges were the modulating piece of the helmet meets the static part (at the seam). Which makes me wonder why they couldn't have incorporated more insulation in the design? Anyways, I know the price looks amazing, but stay away from this helmet and get something with better air flow control.

Bell Has Quality Issues
The air flow tabs do not have a positive lock along with the appearance that they will probably break off with use. The paint has a major run it in. Other than that, the helmet is usable in warm weather (due to the air flow tabs), fits well and has a good appearance. I felt it was worth the sale price but not worth full retail.

Bell Revolver Helmet
After wearing it every day for two weeks, I had to re-glue some of the rubber
trim along the bottom edge of the helmet. The magnet in the strap started falling out because the fabric patches holding it in place had to be re-glued.
Overall fit is good. Wind noise is minimal. I can now hear vehicles pulling up beside and behind me while traveling at highway speeds, something I could not do with my previos helmet. The helmet looks really good and venting is more than adequate. On cooler mornings my glasses would fog up but not the face shield. The modular design is very convinient when driving around town.

Decent but not great
I have been riding with modular helmets for several years now and I have to say this is not the best nor the worst I have worn. For me it is a bit snug in the wrong places, the drop down visor mechanism is cheap and does not function well. Wind noise is an issue, ear plugs are a must. Overall ventilation is between average and good. It is a shame that such a good looking helmet does not perform as well as it looks.

Not too bad, but cheap
The outer shell of this helmet is huge. Cheek padding is too large. It would be reasonably comfortable except that the chin strap feels like it is too far back on the helmet, making it feel as if it is choking you. The magnetic retainer on the strap is a great idea. After only a few rides the rubber strip along the bottom of the helmet is coming off. Guess there was a reason why they were on such a good sale.

Deal of the day came along and I couldn't pass up. First of all.. because of the "flip up feature"... the helmet is thicker than normal, so it makes the helmet extra wide. Also, the drop down sun-shade visor seemed like a cool feature, but in reality it's pretty cheaply made and is controlled by a cheap plastic switch that I'm sure won’t last. Anyway - for those of you that are thinking of buying this helmet.. I would skip it. there are much better helmets for $100.

Pros: good air flow, sunglass, magnetic strap. Cons: too much noise (120km+) and feels bulkier. Rounder shape rather than oval (for those who didn't consider this). When the flip up portion is closed the look is not flush and sleek as I had expected, which contributes to the noise.

sharp looking helmet, with the bell name you'd expect it to be above decent overall. It's loud at any speed above the driveway... it's quieter with the face shield up then it is closed. Like two funnels taped to the sides of your head. They need to revise the closure system, there’s almost daylight at the seams above the ears, where the face piece swings over the front to seal. Nolan and zox, modulars lead the way in sealing and mechanisms.

This helmet is cheap cheap cheap. It has no chin bar, the first thing I noticed was how flimsy the modular part was. If it bends in my hands while pulling it down it will not offer protection in any sort of crash or fall. The entire front of the helmet is for show only, although it does look really good, I cannot recommend this helmet to any sort of rider.
The fit was strange, it would have worked better with someone that had a rounder head. Not for me at all.

Not the best, but OK
Pretty tight fit even in the XXL size. D-ring strap is really short; if you like to use the Echo Quick Release add-on, you will find it nearly impossible to fit the locking part into the buckle because of this. I took mine off after one use. The Magnetic Technology strap fastener would be neat, but since the glued on label came off after 4 uses, I'll have to find some super glue that will hold the magnet in so I can continue to use it. Wind noise not appreciably quieter than my HJC.

I just got this helmet in last night. The fit was great and I loved almost everything about it, until I road tested it this morning. At about 20mph the wind noise started in. Review of the Revolver helemt
The fit and function of the helmet are pretty good. I am starting to really like the flip down sun visor. This is the good side.
My disappointments are two, and one of them is major for me.
1. The lid is very noisy. Maybe that is a function of the modular design but it is noisier than my cheap modular G-Max. Really whistles. I am wearing ear plugs again. (Major)
2. The plastic, or rubber, lining around the shield and under the chin bar are coming loose. This is again, worse than the old G-Max. I have resorted to using clear packing tape to hold the flappers in place. I will mix up some shoe-goo and stick the flappers back on. See if that helps.
So, in closing, I am still in the market for a helmet, I am afraid. Next step may be a non-modular such as an Aria, or however it is spelled. ( $500, ouch!) I will keep the Revolver around for an emergency back up or as a loaner.

windy city helmet
WIND blows through the helmet, I put packing tape over the seams and reduced the noise by 80%. An open face helmet with a plastic shield has less wind. Winter riding will cause frost bite. The wind noise is so loud I cannot hear music with earbuds. That said it is well built and a nice helmet, although you just go deaf wearing it. I have owned many helmets and most have been bells, I would not recommend this to anyone at any price, and cannot believe it is a bell.

Had to return it twice. Fit great but paint was bad on first order. Plastic piece fell out of the hinge on second order when I opened up the first time. When w/ gMax.

WHAT IS BELL THINKING!!!!!!
The sizing on this helmet is terrible!!! I ordered a 2xl and it fits like a medium. What a joke and I won't waste my time on a Bell product again.

Terrible.
It's ridiculously huge without seemingly much extra protection. The right latch/hook to the articulating front does not lock sturdily, and the rear vent flaps (glued with gluegun) are loose and falling off. And it just arrived. The airflow vents don’t click into place with a solid click. It's all so unrefined. This is such shoddy manufacturing. No love, no finesse. The shades that pull down feel so flimsy and weak. I know the switch will break soon. The whole helmet feels weak, rickety and badly assembled.

Too heavy
Bought it as a spare helmet man this thing is big and its way to heavy. Returned right after trying; can’t say much about airflow and stuff, feels like big balloon on your head. Flip up isn’t that cool or any useful I probably would NOT recommend for every day use end up with Scorpion 1100 expensive but well worth the cost

Bell Revolver
I think Bell's run small as a whole. Tried mine on and it didn't fit.
I usually wear XL and so that's what I purchased. Wouldn't have been able to wear my eyeglasses with it anyway. Sold it to a local for what I paid for it; good thing it was on sale.
Seemed kinda cheap construction material.
Looking at an AFX one now.

BELL REVOLVER
I saw harsh reviews re failing parts, awkward fit, wind noise, poor engineering. I refused to believe them because some people are so finicky. But everything I read was true. I wear it daily but its uncomfortable, noisy, windy, flip down shade failed & now scotch-taped up, speaker ports are 2 inches above my ear, & magnet in chin strap fell out just like I read. This design fails.

Goofiest fit ever in a helmet
Where to start? Great ideas poorly executed. The chinbar on this helmet is huge - like no visibility below horizontal huge. If you try to rotate it forward for a better view the straps choke you. An unbelievable amount of air comes in under your chin and swirls around in your face - probably why the 'anti-fog' coating works well. The sun shade does not come down far enough and it feels really cheap. Not worth the money even at the $80 sale price.

Flip Face
I got a 3 xl and it fit like a 1 xl. The built in sunglass button was in a bad position - every time tried to open the helmet, the sun glasses would click to open and get in the way.

Not enough air infiltration control. No padding around the chin area or air management. The idea is good, the execution wasn't great.

bell revolver
You should order this helmet through motorcycle superstore because they have a great return policy. I was a bell helmet fan. Started with a Moto 2 and went up the line. This revolver helmet is so bad I will not even consider trusting bell again. Bell has a lot of nerve selling this product. I don't know where these other reviews came from. If you order this helm consider yourself warned. I don't care how much they drop the price on this disgraceful product. stick with hjc

I just received and began wearing this helmet three days ago. The helmet runs smaller, so order the next size up. The standard cheek pads are 40mm, they are way too tight on your face. They sell the XS pads inserts on this site. The top vents do not click and the wind pushes them open to the rear. One side of the modular face mask will not stay engaged to the locking bar on the front of the main helmet. And the friggen noise.

Instant Return
Everything about this helmet reeked poor quality. I should have known for ninety nine bucks it would be that way. At least I ordered it from Motorcycle Superstore who accepted the return with no questions asked. Ended up with a GMax GM54 modular and couldn't be happier. Awesome helmet.

Don´t buy this helmet!!!!
This helmet is terrible, the sun shade visor broke down before I even used, it does NOT work, BELL did a terrible job on it. NOT worth the money and hassle, but something a bit more expensive and better branded. BELL used to be a great helmet brand and they are killing themselves with those cheap quality helmets....

JUNK
I ordered 2 of the helmets and returned both the next day. 1. the helmet is a Bell and fits like a bell, very round. 2. the inner tinted shield system is very poor in quality. 3. they should give this helmet to those who order one for free and cover the return postage. Sorry Bell this helmet needs to be recycled, maybe then it will be good for use in as something.

Great Helmet
All of the problems with modular helmets of the past seem to have been mastered in the Revolver. Everything moves firmly, clicks tight and can be down with one hand. Great air flow with the vents open, moderate wind noise at high speeds, which can be regulated by slightly adjusting your head position in the wind. One minus, though, it smelled like burning rubber for two weeks. Must have been the glue curing. No smell now, just a great helmet for a great price. Look cool, too.

Air Flow
I concur with the current reviews. Using with the high vise yellow helmet in a tropical environment. Wore it over at the Naval Air Station. The hospital staff inquired where I got the helmet. Air noise: yes with all vents open. Air flow is excellent with vents open.
Driving below 65MPH the helmet is terrific. Somebody got the design right. Modular full open face flip up, flip up face shield, sun shield UV flip.

Bell Revolver Helmet
The only reason I give this 1 star is because I can't give 0. I read the reviews about a noisy helmet, but I normally wear a halfsie helmet anyway, so I wasn't concerned. I wore this helmet for a total of 5 minutes before taking it off and returning it. While front piece is raised or the front down and shield raised, it's ok. With front down and face shield in place, it sounded like a jet engine in my ears. With the volume on my stereo at full, I still couldn't really hear the music. (92 Wing)
