Really nice helmet... just WATCH OUT about the sizes... in other brands I´m an XL, but in this case (AFX) that size is a little bit larger... not a big problem, but the fit is not precisely "accurate", at least in my case.

Well I just got my helmet today, this being my first. Already one of the tabs that keeps the lip closed broke off. In addition to that, the slide down visor comes down too far, It is okay if you slide it down slow but I took it back and the employee even stated that it should not do that and it would need to be sent back. Guess I will see how the next one treats me.

I have been riding since I was 15. By far this is the best helmet I have EVER owned!!! The GMAX 54S modular is just packed with features, all well thought out and very functional. The numerous air vents are easy to use and very effective at cooling your head. The darkened visor is just so easy and absolutely one of the top safety features you will use regularly. Researched for months, I found the GMAX 54 S, and have used every feature in three days of riding. Just love this helmet!!!!

I was hoping that the helmet would accommodate my head without taking off my glasses - Obviously that's not the way the world works, so I have to take off and put on my glasses each time I want to take off or put on my helmet. It's a struggle between the helmet and my face, but luckily my face wins the battle each time. It fits my head excellently and it's comfortable with my glasses on. The modular feature is nifty. It allows me to lift the helmet completely so I can adjust my glasses.
