Great helmet, good fit, great price, but could use better ventilation.

My wife and I bought 2 of these helmets 5 years ago complete with the blue tooth units. We loved them. Now we had to replace them and found them for half of what we paid 5 years ago, So we bought 2 more and transferred the speaker and blue tooth units over to them. Great deal!

N-102 is a heavy, heavy, heavy helmet. It is not balanced due to the heavy modular component and locking mechanism. The chin strap is also very uncomfortable because of the ratchet sits by the bend on your neck. My modular unlocking system failed to unlock many times. Its not worth the money or comfort. I thought the N103 was a little better, but still heavy. I also decided to try the cheap HJC modular helmet, the CL-MAX and it was a very good helmet for the price.

Within a week after purchase of the Noland Modular helmet my wife and I took a 1500 hundred mile trip. The temps ranged from 45 degrees to 81 and from cloudy, sunny to some rain. The helmets fit was excellent, noise was at a min. and visibility was for the most part excellent. Only slight problem was venting and again when it got hot a simple click of visor it cooled. I loved it and it is probably the best all-around helmet I have owned.

Wonderful helmet! Easy on/off. Fit is very natural and secure. I'd like a bit more generous airflow.

I have two N102 N COM helmets. It's a good helmet for the cost. I'm just disappointed that Nolan no longer makes it. The N103 that replaced it is too expensive. I don't want or need the N COM feature. Talking on Bluetooth is for SUV drivers not motorcyclists. I would like a less costly version.
