Not a freq product reviewer, but since most of us will not be able to try these before buying... Male rider, 5'7", 145#, waist 29", inseam 30". Will ride in the NE down to low 40s. Ordered small/regular and med/short in this style, and kept the small/reg. Length was similar in both and adequate to meet my boots. With both quilted liner and windpant removed, both fit over a pair of running tights and med wt hiking pants, with the small being tighter to my leg (good, expect less wind whip) but snug in the groin, med/short comfortable in groin but will ride down in back (would be OK if belt loops available). With both liners in and over just briefs or running tights, med/short too loose in hips and groin, small/reg comfortable all around. Since I'd likely be riding mostly in summer with no liners or just windpant liner and over light pants, elected to go with the small/reg. No info on durability yet. Pockets adequate and convenient. Knee armor in both sits where it should on my frame, and stretch panels work well. HTH. DP

So, they are big. I bought a 10/short in 2015 and they have lasted me from regular jean sizes 10-16. I've put on some weight and now in normal size 16 jeans but I can still wear my size 10 riding jeans, they are a little snug so i'm gonna buy a pair of these in 12/short but still wearable. So if you wear 12/14 I'd advise getting a 10. 16/18 probably would fit size 12 of these well. I was 10/12 when I bought these.. they fit best when I was 12/14 normal jean sizes. They are warm in the summer but keep me from having to wear chaps in 50 degree weather. i have fairly large legs(thigh) and it makes buying jeans pretty rough but theses are really comfy.

I recently got into an accident. The bike went down and I was sent rolling across the pavement. Only damage to my skin was in places between my pants and where my jacket covered. The jacket took some serious damage - tearing and rips. But my arms, back, stomach, and shoulders didn't. Extremely grateful for the CE armor protection this jacket provided.

The sliders in the picture are not what I recieved, the ones you get are solid black with lots half marble indentions. Appear to good quality though

This jacket feels like it is made with very good quality. It has lots of vents that provide good airflow when you want it and the armor plates that provide the protection you want.
