Aside from all the superlatives, my only disappointment is that Saddleman doesn't seem to understand that they should be selling spare mounting units for second bikes. The size is perfect for my commute. The bag holds my briefcase effortlessly.
Looks good on my Suzuki 650 dual sport. After reading other reviews I considered the larger size but am glad that I got this smaller one. I also like the ability to loosen one screw inside the trunk to remove it from the mounting if I want to do more offroad than touring. I bolted the mounting to the frame, but also needed to secure it with wire because my bike doesn't have a rack to bolt it to. Bottom line, it looks good and functions good.
These bags are HUGE... The pouches on the side and the net pouches inside really help to keep everything handy and organize the gear. They are a little flimsy but with some care they are very functional. I found an easy bracket that make these a turn of the key quick disconnect. (Much better then quick disconnect docking system recommended.) Nice looking bags.
I bought this pad to try and get away from a tailbone issue with the seat on my Softail but it wasn't the answer. I think it's still do to the design of the seat. This gel pad is made quite well and fits my seat great. Not sure how ones bottom would fair against the vinyl or the buttons on a long trip. Price wise I believe was fair compared to others on the market. I plan on going to a chopper style solo seat and we'll see how it works then.
Had a specialist install both on the light bar (front turn signals) and for the rear turn signals, he said it was pretty smooth and that they seemed pretty durable. I really like the quality and look. Highly recommend.
