In Colorado's rocks and decomposed granite, this tire works great in the dry. It is a predicable tire with good traction even when the knobs are warn down to nubs. The tire skates around a little on rocks and roots when wet and gets worse as it wears.
Installed it on my 2011 KTM 450 EXC. Ride mostly 90/10 Offroad/onroad. By the end of the first day my buddies hated me and this tire. Awesome grip and throw rocks like a catapult. I now have to change my front Dunlop 606 tire as my bike now pushes due to all the rear grip.
I like the tire it looks great on my 1958 Triumph TR650 chopper. I replaced my old tire and order the the same size thinking it would fit the same, the new tire is 5.00x16 the width measured almost 6" making it rub on my chain and my swing arm. If the tire was the correct width all would be great. I don't ride this bike much only for shows and not sure if it will hold up.
Came on the front with my Ninja 500 I bought from a friend. Had 70-80% tread, still above 10% after 12 000kms. My rear got replaced with a ContiGo shortly after getting the bike, and 10 000kms it's at 0%. The IRC seemed to grip better in all yourconditions, but that may be due to being up front.
