VEGA ALTURA SLAYER HELMET

WOW, what an great looking helmet and price. I was surprised though that the helmet was a little tighter than expected. My old helmet is a Shoei RF200 Large and is not as tight as the Vega XL. Still fits great though, love the Vega helmet! Vents are great, would like to see a better accommodation for the installation of a quick release. After the install of the Quick Release, there is too much chin strap left, would be nice it the fastener was adjustable, say attached to an elastic band that could slide. Definitely not knocking the helmet, more of a suggestion

Vega Boots

My first impression was definitely Moon Boots. The pictures online make it look like a much nicer boot. However, with my jeans pulled down over the top, they look good enough. I didn't realize the gear changing reinforcement was inlaid into the leather, and this seems to be starting to feather around the edge where the peg catches. Otherwise I was in between sizes so went for half a size up. My calves are skinny so I have no problem with the width - I could tuck my jeans in without a problem. They felt quite stiff the first couple of days of wear, but have softened up. There hasn't been enough rain for me to comment on waterproofing of the boots. As the AU dollar was a bit low when I made the purchase, the price was pretty much on par with styles available locally, so no real cost benefit. Overall, I'm satisfied with these boots.

pretty good

The fit was almost too tight at first, but once we got them on they have been great, cost was higher than my other helmets but today everything costs more. Be safe out there my brothers!
