I was concerned that they would be too long after reading other reviews. I am 5',8" with a 32" waist and about 180 pounds, so I decided to order the large. I'm glad I decided on the large because a medium would have been too tight in the waist and crotch. I ride a 2016 Harley Davidson Road Glide Ultra, a big touring bike with highway pegs. Although my waist is 32" I wear a 36" on my jeans, to allow room in my crotch and thighs while riding. Therefore, these rain pants are a good fit because I like to pull them up high over my belt and cinch them tight with the included straps (this is important so your rain jacket has several inches of overlap to prevent leaks, and the included straps are way better than suspenders). I appreciate the extra length of the legs so that I have plenty of maneuverability in any riding position; i.e. stretched out with feet up on highway pegs, feet relaxed on floor boards, crouched down in sport mode when carving out turns, or passing 18 wheelers at 120 mph! The reason I give 4 stars for fit and features is because I don't like the velcro closures at the bottom of the cuffs around my ankles. I'm unable to get a tight cinch around my boots to keep wind and water out, and to prevent them from riding up on my legs. I bought some 24"x1" velcro straps with a plastic rectangle ring (compression straps for camping/ hiking) and attached them to the bottom of the cuffs with self adhesive 3M brand velcro. So now I'm able to cinch my cuffs tight around my boots for worry free riding! I also like the built in storage bag that's attached to the inside rear of the pants, makes them easy to pack and store in saddle bags. I'd recommend these pants to hardcore adventure riders, not someone that wants to walk around in them and look good.

Had to get one size up from usual, but just barely. Protection in elbows, shoulders, and back all seem very good. Venting system works great. If there is one nit, the arm vents are a bit awkward to close. I'm sure that will get better with time

I just recently got to do my first multiple day travel with this suit. Felt comfortable while riding, no pinch, pull or ride up. You will need to stop the adjustments of venting though and you will need to take it off to adjust back vents. Front access pocket only able to hold Ipod nano. Previous reviews were correct that your knee pads will need to be readjusted every time you remount bike. It is waterproof and when zipped up pretty windproof, kept chill out. Rode in temps of 42 on mtn switchbacks. If you decide to stop you cant just unzip and half shed, you will want to take off or burn up.

This is the best 'system' jacket that I can see anywhere on the market. The material is exactly what is required for multi weather situations. The quality of craftsmanship is superb. As one that checks all seams and closures, it past the test with flying colors. I am looking forward to many years of comfortable riding in this jacket. The styling is even quite fashionable.

Few people have purchased as many motorcycle jackets as I have. This Olympia jacket is the absolute best.

Rode from Reno, NV to San Jose, CA using the the jacket for the first time and was able to use all 3 phases in one trip. It was great. Taking CA 4 from Minden, NV where the temp dropped down to the high 30's, over to San Jose where the temp was in the high 70's/low 80's I was able to use the lining, wind breaker, and then just the jacket itself. Could not ask for a better jacket.
