Great Tire

Have been using the Road 2's for a while, front and back. Just replaced my rear with another Road 2 at 10k miles. Probably still had a little bit of life (1k-2k) but decided to replace before that as handling was starting to go, could really feel it on tar snakes at highway speeds.

T63 on DR650

This tire is a bargain. I wish it was a little wider, but no complaints about traction. Good on the pavement & on the seasonal roads where I do the most riding. The DR eats tires & this one was no exception, but as it is relatively inexpensive, I will just replace it more often. This is my 2nd one & I will buy another.

Good performance, terrible tread life

I had a rear PR3 put on in the spring of 2014. Since then I have put approximately 6,000 miles on it. All highway, nothing more than cruising. I ride a 2006 Yamaha Stratoliner, so not doing any racing. I like the "stickiness" of the tire, but getting only 6000 miles and there are cords showing is a lot less than expected. Will go another direction on my next tires.

Fantastic Tire

I put these on my Heritage last year and loved them so much, this year I put them on my Ultra Classic. Wow, total different handling bike. Will never go back to the Dunlops. Can't contest to the overall mileage as of yet, have 3k on them and still look new. Will see how they look at 8k as that is all I could ever get out of the factory Dunlops.

Best Handling Bar None

I just replaced my old PR4GT with a new one. I ride a 2004 Honda ST1300A, two up 70% of the time (I weigh 208lbs, the Mrs weighs 130lbs). I avoid highways as much as possible. The back roads and country lanes here are patched pavement and chipseal. I ride fairly aggressively, even two up ie: not afraid to lean it over at speed and occasionally scraping pegs. 95% of my riding is on dry pavement. The turn-in, grip and stability in tight turns is astounding. For this reason alone, I will never use another tire again. I have ridden in a moderate downpour at highway speeds up to 130 km/h (80 mph) and lane changes and curves were just like on dry pavement. The downside: the center tread was down to nothing and the side treads severely scalloped at 8,300 km (about 5,000 miles), so I replaced the tire with a new PR4GT :). By the way, the severe scalloping did not affect handling at all. The scalloped tire was just noisier in the turns when compared to a new one.
