The description says removable liner and that's simply not true. It is not removable. Not overly happy with the helmet.

I ride every day 20 years. Used Nolan flip up all those years and my wife. Replace helmets every 4-5 years. No problems till this one. 2 yrs into 5 year warranty, sun screen stops working. Sent helmet back to Nolan to repair. I paid shipping there, they paid return. Helmet works 7-10 days It fails again exactly as before. Send again. They pay both ways. "Repair" last 4-5 days. fails again same as before. I offer to buy new helmet at 50% discount. They say 10% discount. I say no. Send back third AND Fourth time, same result, same failure. I pay to return FIFTH time, they pay return, open box and sun screen slide is COMPLETELY FROZEN. I call, they say no more warranty, even tho only 2 years of 5 year warranty. I paid $60 to ship it twice, and all they could do was to insist it must be my fault.

I bought this system after Wingding 36. Installation was fairly easy. Sound quality is good, I like the system, and I plan to buy another for my wife shortly. However, there have been two issues that a new user must be aware of. First and most important the USB plug on the bottom of the module installed into the cavity in the rear of the helmet sticks out below the bottom of the helmet so when you set the helmet down in an upright position the rear of the helmet is actually setting on this plug and that will damage the module in short order. After losing the first module and troubleshooting the cause (I am a Mechanical Engineer) I fixed this by buying a rubber PCV valve grommet (thicker than the height the plug extends below the rim of the helmet) cutting it and gluing it to the bottom rim of the helmet in an arc around the plug with automotive trim adhesive. The second issue, which is much less serious, is that the cord does not hold it's coil very well and over time becomes stretched out so that it hangs down when you are seated on the motorcycle.

Very good helmet , very comfortable to use. PINLOCK very useful in winter with the temperature close to 0 degrees Celsius , not the viewfinder fogging . For the value , it is an excellent cost / benefit helmet.

Having owned a Nolan N 103 previously I had high expectations for my new N 104 Evo. The helmet didn't disappoint. The shield is larger to allow better vertical and peripheral vision. The helmet is lighter and the ventilation system is improved. The noise reduction is better also. The only negative I have found is the latch system isn't completely padded to reduce chafing on my throat. Excellent helmet!
