I put these on my DR650 and even though the fit took a little bit of time to get just right, the end product wasn't bad. That was, until yesterday when I took a nearly stopped fall and the right guard bent in to the point that it was constantly putting pressure on the front brake. The left guard when viewed from the top sits with a nice 90° sweep coming from the bar end around the lever, the right guard came forward from the bar end barely enough to clear the throttle and then took a hard left almost to a 45° angle. I pulled it off and made the trip home. I did what I could to restore the shape and even though it is usable again, I cannot even fit my pinky between the guard and my lever so my bet is that the next fall breaks my lever too. I am very disappointed with the performance of these given the price and will not be going with Acerbis again when the time comes to replace them, if they bend that much with a less than 5 mph drop then in the event of a higher speed wipeout I might as well not have any at all since my lever would be toast anyway.

I want to actually thank motorcycle superstore for taking the time and explaining to me why my support question was not answered. They have resolved my issue and I'm waiting for the correct part to arrive...Thanks Again!! Great customer service!!

This is actually my second Eveline - I replaced the one I bought 5 years ago so I knew size XL was a good fit for me. No doubt, YMMV given peoples' heads differ in shape and all. That said, while I have a NEXX Carbon full helmet, which is among the lightest available, my day-to-day pick is my Eveline since I can ride with the chin bar flipped back (quite nice on these stultifying SoCal triple-digit summer days) and simply flip it over when I hit the freeways (or a spot of rain, should that ever happen again). Sure, it's a bit heavier than the NEXX, but the convenience and cool comfort with the chin bar in back far outweigh that issue.

So far so good for the price. I've only had it 2 months. I put a sheet over it so the sun doesn't deteriorate the fabric as it gets in the 100's where I live.

I liked these because they seemed a bit more heavy dutier than the past ones I've had plus the smaller squares helped for better security and didn't stretch out as much as others. However one downfall is the pricing. My friend ended up showing me his that he had ordered for less than half the price ($195 vs $4-$5 something).
