Purchased one of these when my cheap Vinyl rainsuit gave out. I just got back from a 1700 mile trip and was in Montana when a massive Thunderstorm with heavy rain, lightning, thunder, and heavy wind approached. I stopped, pulled out my new Elite 2 One piece rain suit, removed the new tags, and proceeded to put it on. I started to zip it up and with only light force, the metal zipper head came off in my hand! First time I used it and needed it , it failed! I stuffed the suit back in the trunk since I couldn't zip it and proceeded to get thoroughly soaked and cold. Failed when I really needed it! The fabric looks good, but it is pretty worthless now without a zipper. Pretty pissed off that it failed.
I placed this tire last month on my WR250R. I've found it to be excellent on all surfaces so far. I'm by no means an expert rider and on a recent single-track ride I found it has given me tremendous confidence when I have to start from an uphill position. Traction has been nothing short of excellent. I haven't really had it in the mud yet, but I don't expect any surprises there. One surprising thing is that it feels smoother on pavement than my previous tire which was the Michelin T63. I can definitely recommend this tire.
I placed this tire last month on the front of my WR250R. I'm not an expert rider so I don't have very nuanced observations about the tire. But the tire seems very planted in my turns and hasn't given me any reason to dislike it. I've ridden it so far in sand, rock, and plain dirt and it rides very well. I haven't had a chance to ride it much in mud really so I can't say much about that. Doesn't fee spongy on the street when turning either. So far I'm quite pleased with the tire.
The master link that came with the chain broke after just 1 week. I do not recommend buying this chain, as it is a cheap roller chain not worth using. the link come off and then chain smashed all front cover mounts off the motor..to fix it is $200 not happy with this chain.
