Excellent jacket, especially for the price
The fit is a complicated story. At 6-1, 170, I have been a size Large in every jacket my entire adult life. Based on reviews, I ordered a size X-Large. Good choice. With two liners it's comfortably snug. But with no liners it is definitely loose. You can tighten it up using the Velcro belts so the looseness is not really a problem. In summary: when it's cold out it is snug and when it's warm it is a little loose. Not bad. Main pockets are also a little small...

One season Jacket
I have a lot of Joe Rocket gear that has been with me through many seasons. As said in a few other reviews this jacket just seems to be put together poorly. The weakest points are the zippers. Not only do they leak in relatively light rain, they are not very sturdy. This jacket limped through last season with both cuff zippers failing, then the inside main zipper and finally the front zipper which made the jacket unusable.
I bought an XXL (one size bigger) just in case it ran small but I think an XL would've been just fine. I kept it anyway. I took the armor pads out of the shoulders and elbows since they wouldn't sit in the proper position on me. It vents very well so far. I avoid riding in the rain so don't know about rain resistance.

Almost as good as the Transition 2
This jacket is nearly as good as its predecessor. The sizing has been changed and now the medium is way too tight and the large is a little too loose and tends to flap in the wind. Tourmaster has added neoprene and rubberized velcro to the cuffs making them much too bulky. Gauntlet gloves are now difficult to get on and won't slide around the cuff when swiveling the wrist. I am having my seamstress modify the cuffs for me.
My first leather jacket
As the title says this is my first leather jacket and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I'm 5'11 155lbs (athletic build) and the medium fits like a glove. The whole jacket is well made with plenty of pockets and hefty zippers to stash anything you need. I was surprised it came with its own hangar and protective cover for storage. The only reason it got 4/5 stars in cost benefit is for the price I feel like it should come with armor. Other than that I highly recommend this jacket.
great winter jacket
I used this jacket during April, where we have cold morning and warmer afternoon commutes.
It was great in the morning and in the afternoon I just removed the liner for the ride home. Runs a little small, I usually wear XL but the 2XL fit more comfortably.
Motorcycle Superstore is the best place to shop and buy street bike and sportbike jackets. Here you'll find a massive selection of leather and textile riding jackets designed to make riding safer and more comfortable. Primarily, street bike jackets have been worn for coverage and protection in case of an accident. Today manufacturers like Alpinestars, REV'IT!, Icon, Joe Rocket, and Speed and Strength focus on bridging the gap between safety and performance. In many of our jackets, you will find extensive ventilation and mesh panels to reduce overheating and create a more suitable climate inside the jacket. Many jackets are cut and engineered to follow the contours of the body when in a riding position. In return, this reduces pinching and binding, and adds flexibility and comfort when out on the streets. While a ton of effort has gone towards improving the fit and feel of sportbike jackets, companies are still dedicated to creating the safest and most protective riding gear. Many jackets, on both leather and textile, feature CE approved impact protectors throughout. Even though our collection of street bike and sportbike jackets might have many of the same features, each jacket is unique in its own way. To find out which jacket is right for you, browse our inventory and check out our option filters to help narrow down your selection. Also, if you're riding in less than ideal temperatures, we have a full line of heated gear and jackets along with rain jackets to turn any day into a ride day. So before you hit the streets, make sure you've got a safe, protective and high performing street bike jacket from Motorcycle Superstore.
