Good Materials and Workmanship - Poor Design

5'11" and 220 lbs. Either XL or XXL according to the size chart. I chose the XL. It is right on. Snug with both liners. Plenty of room without liners. Sleeve-length is adequate. Over-use of Velcro. Should use more snaps. Pockets are too small, too difficult to access, and don't have weather protection. Flip-phone pocket is outdated. 3-in-1 jacket design is a nice concept but poorly executed. For the time and effort it takes to put these pieces together, they should be more unified.

Good Jacket

I tried on several jackets and shopped online as well. This one suits my need for a warm/hot weather jacket. The armor is good and the mesh really lets the air through. Getting the liner in and out is a bit fiddly, but that is not a major issue and is likely the same with all such jackets (my leather jacket has a liner and it is also somewhat of a chore to get in and out. Quality of build and materials is first rate.

I like it!

Had it a few weeks now and really like it. It is snug around my waist but have not had issues with it riding up on me. I am 5'7" 215 lbs and the extra large fits great. The Velcro on the elbow pad strap could use some improvement but it does hold the pad in place securely and comfortably. I think it is a sharp looking jacket and even riding in 90 degrees has been bearable. Consider carrying a light waterproof shell to throw over it if you should get cold or run into rain.

sometimes you get what you pay for

In cold weather this jacket works real well great adjustable fit. The real test will come next summer when the temps get near 100F and I will test the very innovative venting system.
