Installation was super easy, most of the bolts lined up properly. (Pro-tip, thread in each bolt by hand for 4 or 5 rotations. This allows the plate to move around and get the bolts in straight before tightening).
Took the bike out the next day and my wife used that skid plate. It works as advertised and offers better protection than most skid plates out there for the XT250. Metal > plastic.
This jersey appears to be well made, not heavy duty but good for casual trail riding as I do. Good enough to keep from getting scratched up from branches or hit by small stones. Size wise, if you are going to wear it as I do with just a performance t-shirt order one size up so it does not cling to you. You might want to go more if you wear protective gear under it. Like the bright colors to help with being seen in the woods. Thanks MS for reliable ordering and quick shipping.
These things saved my hands and bike multiple times on the same trip! I dropped the bike a few times in some rocky areas and was nice to see these guards taking the impact and not my brake or clutch handles.
The install was a little difficult for a couple of reasons. On my 2014 CRF250l the ignition controls, brake components and throttle all have pilot holes and pins so in order to move the throttle assembly the 1/4 inch necessary to install the hand guards, all holes needed to be re-drilled.
The fit on the crf250l is tight. It is so tight i wasnt sure i was going to clear the crossbar on the handlebars but after some experimentation with which screws to tighten first second third i got it. I realize that most riders have some level of mechanical ability but i would not try this if you are not comfortable tearing the handlebars down and drilling some new holes.
I like wearing my shoes out from the bottom and not the top. I bought the short shifter first but when i realized it was too short i ordered the longer one and it works terrific. I love it and i no longer need to use my foot to shift..
