Ordered the small/medium in this hat, because that's what I wear for every other hat I've ever wore and it fit like a large/extra large. It wasn't even close to true fit. I bought a different Oakley hat in a s/m and it was perfect. For some reason it's this specific hat that I had the trouble with...
Oakley has knocked it out of the park with this goggle. Not only is it the safest goggle on the market. Every part of the goggle is replaceable. Face foam, strap, lens, outrigger.. everything! Well worth the higher price point. Not to mention you don't feel like you are wearing a goggle when it's on. It's like HD vision.
Having sold Oakley sunglasses for a few years, and knowing the research and technology that goes into every product they make, it was really a no-brainer. These are the best goggles you can get at this price point!
Just got my new goggles. They do look good. The quality is good. The foam face pad with the suede like material feels good. That's where my compliments end. The goggles are a bit large. They are a wedge fit into my Bell moto 8 helmet. When the helmet moves so do the goggles on my face. I don't race and I use a quick strap. The Oakley strap snaps into a slot on the goggles which is great if you want to use the supplied strap but it took some effort to install the quick strap which is not 100% correctly installed now. I'm sure the iridium lens will be trashed pretty quickly since I ride in the woods and have branches brushing the lens often. I know because I had one before. It's not scratch-resistant at all. It's a well made goggle but it's not working well for me.
I tear these up and scratch these lenses pretty quickly in the tight brush in the AZ. desert. During summertime I have to have certain tints to keep down the eye fatigue. $10.00 a piece is a small price to pay for me to still have my effective eyesight.
