Lightweight, good ventilation, and decent protection
I was looking for a lightweight motorcycle shoe with decent protection and a good ventilation. The X-Zero seems to fit the bill. They are stylish, very lightweight and comfortable, and the protection features you could expect from a short shoe are there. Ankle protection on both sides, reinforce toe and heel boxes, and a rigid sole. The tongue has a pocket to tuck in the laces, which is nice, although perhaps a bit short of ideal. The best feature is the air flow. I like the style and colors. On sale, these are an easy pick.
I ordered the largest size available from Motorcycle Superstore which was EUR 58. I believe this was to be same size as a XXL in US size. Unfortunately when the jacket arrived it was too small so I had to return it. Although I was not able to use the jacket, it appeared to be a nice quality product. The return process was easy and I have received my refund.
As a newer rider I knew I wanted good gloves that would protect me in a low speed drop or anything like that, but as I have advanced, these gloves are competitive with the more expensive ones, great fit and good structural support where it's needed.
I've only ridden with them once. Size was a little wide but I attribute that to aerodynamically shaped feet, not the boot. Length was perfect. Nice looking boots, comfortable. For mid priced boots, I would definitely recommend them.
So if your a female motorcyclist. These are great but they do run small. I wear men sized clothing for work and even still its not accurate for these pants. Once you find the right size they're great. Make sure you take your hips into consideration! Pockets would be nice for the next generation of these pants.
Works fine over my Klim Overland Jacket.
The scary Orlando traffic begs for Hi Vis.
Vest folds up and fits in jacket inner pocket when not in use, good thing as it can slide off if you have vest unfastened to have jacket unzipped.
Overall I'm happy with this product.
The price is tolerable. Yes I would buy it again.
