People complaining about having to extend cables or drill locating holes obviously don't realize that these are universal handlebars. They are meant to fit any bike that uses a 7/8" clamp. You are responsible for researching how much rise you can add to your bike without having to relocate or replace cables and hoses.
I installed the medium bars on a 2012 FZ1. All of the stock cables and wiring were too short. I removed plastics, fuel tank, air box, and other parts to get access to the wiring and cable to reroute them and get enough slack to reach the bars. I also had to drill holes to locate the switch gear. This was to be expected and no big deal.
I love the look and finish of these bars and the rise provided is of great benefit to my elbows.
These are great; they will survive a fall and are super tacky ride after ride.
I waffle (pun intended) between the full diamond and the half waffle. I don't think I can tell the difference when riding.
Received a similar tube in the Renthal package however my tube was all white with no writing on it like the picture above. No big deal. Cracked the seal and the entire bottle was a tacky blob that stuck together and never dried to this day. I'm thinking it had to have been defective or there is a possible shelf life that my tube was well past.
