The rivet type requires a quad stake tool, not the standard riveting tool used for hollow nose rivets. Also, as a previous reviewer mentioned, the WPS chain comes with a clip style master link. Might be a good choice if you have the more expensive tool or if a local shop will rivet it for you.
These Boots were perfect for getting my KDX200 project trail worthy. Been on quite a few rides already and have not seen any of the negatives listed above. I live in Utah and we have had 90+ degree days and they have held up awesome. I would recommend them to anyone.
I agree with some of the other reviews. If your motorcycle has the normal 5/8 inch post installation with threads this is not the best product for you. In this case you need to be handy with tools to custom drill and install the minimal hardware provided. Depending on your install location there will likely be some gap/visibility into your wires and limited/no water proof seal. Having said that, the product is as pictured and will work as soon as you hook it up.
Don't buy this chain, haven't put 400 miles on it and already super loose and now just snapped off at a random link while I was on the highway. Yes it's cheap and a quick fix chain but don't buy if you ride a lot.
Do not buy these. The bulbs burn out extremely quickly at the slightest vibration. After replacing the bulbs with LEDs, the wires started ripping out and are very difficult to reattach. Only good things are that they are cheap and not too difficult to replace/install. I do not recommend these signals.
