The gears are great! Both of them really like to put them on and feel protected. They fit really well for both of them. It offers adequate amount of protection for casual rides on trails.

I am new to riding dirt and bought this as a recommendation. So far, definitely protects against roost. Haven't taken a notable spill yet to determine dump protection but seems to be able to do the job. All padding and critical area covers are in the right place. I'm 6'1" pushing 290 and this fits unexpectedly well. Thumb holes were unexpected too but much appreciated! Quality of the build is very good. Zippered front is well assembled and sewn. Zipper is plastic so I don't know how well it will handle a significant wipe out but it is easy to zip on and off without binding or having to pull down the front. Velcro is in the right spots on forearms and have enough adjustment to customize. Fit and finish is above expectation overall. I would certainly recommend this product. I find it easier than getting separate elbows, chest and back protection. This all in one is perfect! Cost is well deserved. Bought one for my son (10 y/o) and he really enjoys it too!

It does offer superb protection. Adjustability of the guard to suit different riders sizes is a plus. Cheesy elastic straps to hold neck guard in place are easily lost or misplaced since they are not attached permanently. I don't have a chesty that this should attach to so I can not say how that functions. In all, the security of this item for the neck is beyond necessary and it does it well. If cost is not a concern for you, then go for it.

The photo on web sight makes them look great they work good but straps unclip if not for the boots they would fall off.

It has giving me good relief from my pain level by holding the joint together. Shoulder is so destroyed from the years of motocross, Pacific Northwest mountain single track trail riding, and extreme back country snowmobiling. shoulder only works in one position. [Holding on to handle bars of some sort]. 60+ years old and still keeping up with riders of all skill levels. Old guys rule is my moto now. My only alternative at this point is full shoulder replacement. Insurance will pay, but you have to sign a form saying you will not do any moto sports. If you damaged what they paid for they will not pay for the repair if you do what's on there list. Take care of your joints. My knees are in the same category as my shoulder. still getting her done thought.

I ride trails and not very aggressively but after the second ride the seams that run along the thumbs started to come undone. I loved the gloves but I can't afford to buy gloves that basically cost me 25 dollars per ride to have. Stay safe.
