I know these are really expensive. But I've had some bad luck in the past with crashing in weak gloves. I crashed pretty hard at the track in these and the armor did a fantastic job. Walked away totally unharmed, and I can even see where I landed on my right palm and the plastic slider took the force and let my hand slide instead of impact the ground. Worth every penny in my opinion.

These gloves are very heavily armored. Scaphoid skid plate, heavy-duty leather, and good closure mechanism. However, they run very small. I normally wear small/medium, and a medium in these gloves is very close to being too tight to fit. The fit is tight enough to significantly limit my finger motion. I am hoping that after a season, they will wear-in enough to be bearable. Based on other reviews, a large would be far too big for my hands.

I use this under my riding jacket. Very comfortable and feels extremely durable. The design, materials and construction are top notch.

The gloves were comfortable immediately but a little stiff feeling. This improved over time. Had the opportunity to wear them for extended period of time in heavy rain and they did excellent job of keeping hands dry. Velcro strap and flap around wrist seems kind of flimsy. Not cheap.

I started riding again last year and these give me an extra piece of mind. I wear them almost every time I'm on my bike. I did not understand the sizing at all so I bought both sizes. I'm a power lifter so I do have big quads and calves, but you better have some bird legs if you want to get into the smalls. If you're like me and you don't, go with the large size. There's an adjustable Velcro strap and they stay in place well and are comfortable.
