A decent pair of jeans

Being a big & tall guy, I've had difficulty finding jeans I like. These were plenty long while not riding. When riding, the knee armor doesn't quite bend enough so the pant leg tends to stick out. Feels like they are shorter in that regard, but they really aren't. They are a little warm in the shin area. On my FJR, I noticed my shins would get warm when standing still but quickly went away after riding. These also look more like a regular pair of jeans then some others. I would have like to have seen some venting in the crotch, just for airflow's sake. I have a set of Icon jeans that has a non-denim fabric there and it helps keep the jeans cool. The bagginess of the jeans does allow airflow up the pant leg, which helps. My biggest complaint is that the zipper is not long enough. I'm not trying to brag or consider myself exceptional, but getting the "equipment" out is a challenge. On top of that, certain areas rest of the bottom part of the zipper. Need to be careful, or you can get caught just enough to sting when you're closing everything back up. I've just learned to sag down the pants a bit before stepping up to the urinal.

Great jacket for the money

pros: all mesh. armor. LOW NECK. this is the best part as having my jacket rub on my helmet is super annoying. cons: no inside pocket for your phone.

Saved my life

To start off, let me say the pictures don't do it justice. Every time I stopped to get gas, or take pictures, or grab a bite to eat, I would get compliment after compliment. The most shocking thing about that, is it wasn't just 20-something guys. I had to elderly ladies using walkers come up and tell me how much they loved the designs. The airflow is great, however it is a rather noisy helmet. Using a Sena with the helmet was a task at times, especially over 40, or with a crosswind. To the point though. I got into a pretty bad wreck on the 8th of July. Thrown from the bike about 20 feet, came down on my head and shoulder. With the exception of a few scratches, you can't even tell the helmet hit the ground. I never had so much as a headache. If I wasn't wearing this helmet, I would probably be in a coma, at least. Thank you S&S, You earned a lifetime customer.

SS1600 Helmet

I read a lot of reviews about this helmet before ordering from Revzilla.com and I really loved the look of the helmet and all of the positive feedback I was seeing online. I did follow the manufacturers instructions in regards to the sizing and it was spot on for me so I can't really that everyone is wrong about their sizing just because everyone has different shaped heads and all but I will say that my helmet fits me great and I truly feel like I have a lot of protection going down the road on my GSXR 600. Hope this helps someone.

Very comfortable but need more protection

I got these pants for riding in warm weather because my normal motorcycle pants are very heavy. I have a 33 inch waist, so I ordered the size 34 and they fit as I expected, a little loose, but fine with a belt. The legs were two inches longer than I expected, so I had them shorted by a tailor. The material is medium weight, very soft denim. On the whole, they fit loose and baggy and are very comfortable for sitting and walking. These are not skinny jeans. The style is exactly like the picture. My only complaint is that there is not much Kevlar protection. Just a couple of patches over the knees and the seat. I would prefer to have more coverage over the hips and thighs. There are no pockets for knee or hip pads. Compared to my regular motorcycle pants, these jeans are cool and comfortable, I'm not sure they will help much in a crash. They are only slightly better than regular jeans.
