Outstanding helmet for the price. Had to reorder due to small sizing, and still a bit tight.

I have tons of Scorpion of gear and I'm (overall) very satisfied with all of it. But... I wear an XL Scorpion helmet so I bought the L/XL size. While the material does help reduce wind chill, the face hole is not as small as shown. I have to pull the top almost halfway over the top of my head just to reach my nose. In addition the part that is designed to tuck under the jacket is extremely short and often pulls out from under your jacket creating quite a shock to the system as cold air shoots down your body. Construction is O.K., but the seams don't line up very well.

This is the first street helmet that I have bought in a long time. It was on sale and had some quirky styling going on that appealed to me, so I went for it. It is not the first Scorpion Exo helmet that I have owned, as I had a MX helmet made by the same manufacturer, several years ago. Based on that experience, it seemed like a good choice. The helmet has lots of nice features, like luxurious padding and lining, decent venting and the sun visor. It is fairly aerodynamic, but not as quiet in the wind as I was hoping. Fit was as close as one could get based on the sizing chart, and pretty snug, although the foam liner is a teeny bit more round than my head is, so after a long ride, my forehead starts feeling a bit of pressure through the padding. Other than that, it's great!

I have an older pair of SLIDERS kevlar jeans which would be great if the pockets were a little deeper and there were two more belt-loops at the back. I tried the SCORPION COVERT JEANS because of the advertised increase in kevlar area. I made the mistake of washing them right after receiving them instead of inspecting them, and discovered that while the SLIDERS JEANS had thick substantial kevlar, the material purporting to be kevlar in the SCORPION COVERT JEANS was very very thin and stretched as easily as a cheap t-shirt.

This a very good helmet and a great helmet for the price. I really like the air pump feature that allows for changing how snug of a fit. Air flow was very good and did not have any issues with fogging. The 1 issue that has popped up is I found air seeps in between the top of the visor and top of helmet where the 2 pieces meet. There is not an issue with sound and I cannot even feel a draft, but if the riding temp is below 40 F I found I was getting an ice cream headache. If it was not for the low temperature I never would have realized it was there, but did have put on a hat to cover my forehead as it was hard to concentrate on riding. All in all, a very good helmet.

I like the jacket. The liner makes it a good wind breaker as long as it does not get too cold. Without the liner it is great in the heat. Wonderful airflow. The liner is a bit tough to take in and out due to the straps in the sleeves, but not too bad. The back pad is not much protection, so I bought a CE armor back pad. I have not had the jacket long, so I cannot speak to the durability yet. It is a bit heavy for a mesh jacket due to the armor. The zippers seem flimsy, but they are adequate. Given the price it is a great jacket.
