Using it on a OEM Honda ST1300 Tail Trunk. Stiff little rack , found that out trying to get all 4 mounts to hit a flat table evenly , one was off 1/8" . Wish the silver finish was more durable chrome. I reinforced the bolt holes with epoxied sheet metal inside to prevent top lid cracks. Otherwise it should work fine. I needed a set of spacious side cases for my V-Strom for longer trips. The E360's was an exact fit for the Givi racks on my bike. I've not used them on a trip yet but they allow me to take "to much" on my upcoming 8 day trip. LOL. They are well built and should serve me well. The only downside is, they are keyed differently, but I can deal with that.
First time I strapped bag to bike it ripped at contact point over 1 inch. Now it's not water proof. When I got back from trip, forgot to mail it back. Got around to it 2 years 3 months later. Opps. 3 months too late. I mailed it to Givi asking for repair or replace, they mailed it back to me unrepaired. Spit in my face. Sorry. Your 2 years is up. Do you want to do business with a 2 year warranty company? Not me. Givi did not do the right thing in this instance.
- It comes with a template that makes installation simple and precise.
- It's a perfect fit as it's made specifically for the cases in question. It fastens snugly and securely; there's no play at all.
- It's comfortable.
- There's nothing I would change about it.
Got the 46L case to use primarily as storage for my commute. Easily fits my laptop bag and a bag of groceries if I need to stop on the way home. Also plenty of room for my modular Nolan helmet while I'm at work, so I don't have to carry that in with me anymore. With the mount, feels really sturdy on the bike. No complaints.
