I bought the brand a few times but this is the first Raven. When I bought this tire there was a lot of skepticism and I did it anyway. I ran them for 6500 miles on back roads the dry traction for my bike was pretty good but wet traction was scary but was expected since it was a high mileage tire. The odd part is I had to change it out due to a leak and dismounted to patch and it turned out it was tire failure in addition to the puncture. I am glad I did not have to experience full on tire failure that something punctured it first. Steel belt was coming un-layered inside the tire, IMO was from the puncture and road it on flat basically for maybe a mile, was the strangest thing I ever seen. If it were not for the tire fail I probably would have gotten 10k out of the tire easily. Will I buy another, yes. Most would not but I know what to watch for and doing my daily safety checks is tire check I will give another chance and putting 12k a year on my bikes as my only means of transportation is the way I roll. I read one review of swelling did NOT experience this at all with the proper size tire. This tire was mounted on a 1997 Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird that is currently at 8x,xxx miles and a daily rider even in the winter.

3K on front and rear on klr 650...I like the rear tire for back roads and some gravel...will get 5k out of rear....On the front i will not replace with same tire...maybe a shinko 244...I find that the front 705 is unsafe in wet conditions and dont care for handling...i prefer the 700 or 244 upfront...I have tried front from 22psi up to 38psi...

I have had this tire on the rear of my ZX10r for 5,500. Used in all conditions on the road. Over all this mileage I never wished I had another tire on the bike. I now suspect that the "premium" brands are taking their customers to the cleaners. Buying the same tire this time around.

Coming from WA I can say this tire is the best 66 buck investment you can make. I got just over 17k in all types weather traction is better the other brands for twice the money. Then again it out lasts them by several thousand miles

Looked at my rear tire on my 08 FatBob, almost at the end of life. Thought darn I just replaced it; checked my records and noted that I had the tire for 8022 miles and it still has another 1 to 1.5k remaining. For the price, performance the 777 can not be beat. FYI, I ride distance and commute on the bike; it also has a Works suspension F and B.
