These boots fit me wonderfully. They're quality made and comfortable. I haven't worn them enough to know how long they'll last but so far so good.
My only issue was one is slightly taller than the other. I figure I'll just drag the foot on the ground a little til they're even. ??
I HAVE ONLY WORN THE BOOTS ON THREE OR FOUR RIDES. (600 miles?) THEY WORK FINE. I LIKE THAT THEY ARE LIGHT WEIGHT. YESTERDAY IT WAS 85 DEGREES AS WE RODE OUT OF THE SAN DIEGO MOUNTAINS AND THEY WERE COOL AND COMFORTABLE. I LIKE THE ANKLE SUPPORT. THEY FELT A LITTLE ROUGH AROUND THE ANKLES AT FIRST, BUT SMOOTHED OUT AFTER A FEW RIDES.
SEVERAL YOUNGER FOLKS HAVE COMMENTED ON HOW "COOL" THEY LOOK.
I BOUGHT THEM TO USE WITH MY CAN-AM TRIKE, BUT DUE TO COMFORT LEVEL HAVE BEEN USING THEM WITH MY HARLEY.
BE CAREFUL ON GRAVEL SURFACES AS THEY DON'T HAVE LUGS ON THE SOLE.
I DON'T REALLY KNOW ABOUT DURABILITY, BUT LEFT IT A 5 AS THEY LOOK WELL BUILT.
They're like auto racing shoes with thin soles and cut out in the rear. I wear 10 1/2 and the 11 fit perfect, I did not have a problem with them being to narrow as other mention. I really like them thus far, for the money its hard to beat.
Boots fit & finish excellent as expected from this brand. Comfortable and definitely waterproof. I submerged in water and let soak for a few minutes - Dry inside! Won't know about keeping cool until hot weather. Though in 50 deg. weather they didn't feel cold.
I have many miles on a pair of older TCX boots in wet riding, so trust claims of vented variety.
Had been looking for a lace - brown boot. Great ankle protection. Warm and sweaty after a hot day - 39 degree C well anything is hot ! Comfort is perfect fit size 43 wide fitting which is ideal for my flat feet! Breaking time - about a week to feel like I had been wearing them for ages. Sole is great - minimal wear after a month. Good grip in the wet. I mix up a cruiser and cafe racer and find equally a good fit on the bike and pegs.
