I wear these overpants when it is 40-59 degrees and they keep me warm on my 20 minute commute to work (on Triumph Scrambler). The hip pads and shinguards keep my hips and shins warm, although I feel some coolness on the backside of the thighs when I start off. However, I never feel cold. They fit nice and look good. You can put them on and take them off with your boots on, but I usually put my boots on after putting on the pants and remove my boots to take off the pants. It's a lot easier that way. They give you extra snaps, in case you are rough and pull out your fly snap. I haven't had any problems with durability. Highly recommended.
Gets pretty hot in the summer here, so I gave these a shot. Airflow is very good and more protective then motocross or mechanics type of gloves. Fit is dead on, finish is good, they are a bit slick on the levers. I bought a pair for myself and my wife. Her's are the same. I hope after they break in some, that will go away.
Overall I am very pleased. Have not ridden in rain or cold but the liners are easy to install and remove. The velcro close pockets are very nice. Buy long, I am a 31 pant length and the XL 33 is perfect. Durability is unknown, too new, others rate highly. I dinged them on finish because the velcro on the side entry zipper covers catches the inner liner making it tricky to zip them closed. The pants are roomy and comfortable when riding.
I ordered this because everything I have made by Tour Master has been of exceptional quality. The flaps on the product will not stay closed due to the very lightweight magnets used to secure the closure. There were no holes punched to allow for installation. They could have at least provided a pattern. Once I unfastened my windshield and marked some hole locations and punched them, then I could install it. I emailed Tour Master to see if instructions were available. Their answer "Install on windshield". I'm very disappointed in this product.
