yes they are great in hot weather.
yes they are a weird material.
yes they keep water out well.
yes they have a hood.
yes the legs have great openings to slide your boots through.
And yes they melt all over your pipes.
So, if you have a goldwing, or bmw, or concourse... you will be fine and probably like them. if you ride pretty much anything else, yer screwed. i wore mine for 80 miles. slightly over an hour. that is a dollar a minute and a dollar a mile.
yeah. that hurt the ol' pocketbook.
Spent almost 1 whole day driving to find my Frogg pants and a heat shield patch kit. Basically ruined the looks of a cheap rain pant. Patch black rubber just started peeling off before I could even use the pants. THANKS FOR NOTHING! Would never buy these suits again. They should be ashamed!!!!!!!!!!!!
Poor quality. Patch should have been built in.
I bought this for my wife to match my jacket I have used for years. Still the same, I have loved mine since the first time I was in the rain. It is very breathable and cool on hot days and I would recommend it to everybody. Delivery was quick and ordering was easy.
Gulf Coast wet riding? It rains hard and hot here, so regular rain wear gets me just as wet from sweating. Frogg Togg enables cool and dry riding by keeping most (98% or so) of the water out, while breathing. After 20 min/75 mph/driving rain/80degF, only lower thighs and shins were damp. Not wet, just damp. And it's compact enough that I can carry with me. Thank you Frogg Togg. I'm throwing out my nylon rain suit.
