Love the look of these gloves but they were much thinner (lighter) fabric than I was expecting. The first time I put them on, I thought, "dang, these don't feel very durable". Sure enough, after two days of Motorcycle Safety School (Yeah, didn't even take 'em off road yet) I've got a popped seam in the palm of the left glove. Didn't fall. Didn't do anything to them. Just popped a seam. Cheap.
Was not disappointed in this back protector. Feels tough enough to protect from a hard hit, but is very comfortable to wear. It seems to just mold to your back. Low profile under jacket.
My only complaint is that it is made in China. Also, based on size charts, I ordered a medium. I am 5'7" and very stout. I wish the waste strap had a little more length and that the back protector was a little taller. I should of got a large instead.
I ordered the KR-C chest protector with it. It seems of good quality as well, but the wife may make fun of you since it looks like a man bra! I'll just keep it under my jacket...
I really like the Alpinestars SP-1 gloves. The first week that I bought the gloves they were a little uncomfortable around the knuckles. Once they were broken in you could say they "fit like a glove." These offer great protection and also don't completely break the bank.
I'm petite, so I've been looking for a jacket that actually fits me for a very long time. This is a great jacket if you're looking for a tight fit. It looks great on, and the quality is pretty solid. However, there is one problem: there are NO ZIPPERS on the sleeves! Not sure what the heck they were thinking with this design feature, but it's very difficult to get the jacket off, especially on a hot day. If they add zippers to the design I would have zero complaints.
