I am in love with this jacket. The leather is soft and supple in all the right spots. The cut fits me like a glove. I love the zippers in the back and on the wrists. It is very warm and makes me feel like it was cut just for me. I love the pockets and the belt is an added detail that makes this a unique mc jacket. The small is true to size.
Jacket is well made with excellent appearance and wear comfort. This jacket provides the quality fit and ride ability I always look for in my riding gear. And not to mention the price of the jacket made it affordable.
I do Really like the jacket but the elbow armour is located way up the back of the arm... right about where your tricep is located. I am guessing that the location of the liner pockets (for the armour) was the issue. I have raced and crashed motorcycles for years and have all kinds of leather racing suits and street jackets but have never needed tricep padding/protection!!! I like the quality and have another RSD jacket as well (the Clash) where the elbow armour in that jacket is located perfectly... right at the elbow and forearm. So overall, the Ronin jacket is a great product, but the elbow armour is drastically miss-located!
I had a chance to wear this shirt for the first time yesterday. It was 60 degrees in Atlanta, so too warm for a heavy jacket, but cool enough for a top shirt. It is form fitting so no loose material to flap in the wind. I was surprised at how warm it was. When I reached my destination I had to take it off immediately as it was "quite warm."
Mine is sort of an olive green and goes well with pretty much any color riding pants. I really like it and would recommend it for short or long trips when the temps are between 40-60 degrees.
I purchased this jacket about 6 months ago and from the first day through now, it is the BEST riding jacket that I have ever owned. The leather feels great, the features are functional, with the attention to details (like the bones liner, and quilted patterns) being a nice touch. Bottom line... I'd buy this again. Which always says a lot!!!
