Was really looking forward to wearing these boots but sadley could not feel the gear shift ended up moving up and down bot no feel at all same with rear brake.
and when it came to taking them off the buckles were a nightmare need plyers to get them off almost have to pack up ridding half hour early as knew had to get boots off.
spoken to other users who have the same problems as above which pleased me as thought it was just me.
I've had these for a little over 2 years - probably 60 hours on them. OK for MX but too stiff for me in most off road situations;
PRO: They seem very protection in the foot area (the plastic is stiff all around the foot); fit is fairly true to size (I got an 11 for a 10.5 foot and it is roomy but not sloppy); buckles easy to adjust length; durable;
CON: Very stiff and mine have stayed stiff; can't feel the shift lever and brake pedal feel is very limited because the boot is so stiff; mine had WORST BUCKLES ever designed by man until modified; the buckles would not come out of the slot that they pivot in (screwdriver or pliers required); I had to hog out the slot where the buckle pivots into the fixed portion (drill bit slightly larger than the existing slot size); now the buckles are OK but the boot is so stiff, it'll only be used for the roughest of rides;
I like this neck brace and it integrates well with the A8 Chest Protector. However, I ponied up the extra money to get the Carbon one thinking it would be typical carbon fibre weave and it is not. It is plastic and I'm sure it has carbon in it, just not the typically what you would expect.
Fits very well and comfortable. Integrates well with the Bionic Neck Brace. Fortunately, I have not had the oppurtunity to crash test. I can say that you do not notice it on while riding, and I do feel protected.
