busa

I got 5300 miles on this tire, if any one wants to know. I didn’t baby it on most of my take offs, after all it a BUSA. I never slid the rear tire on corners but I still had 1/4" chicken strip. I’ll work on that !! I just ordered another one because the price is right and I think 5300 hundred miles is acceptable.

BT 56 OE rear tire

I chose this tire because of its overall performance and value. Unlike most Hayabusa riders, I also tour with mine and the OE Bridgestone rear tire lasted 7000-8000 miles while still giving overall excellent performance and the best value. (The front has over 9000 miles and still going strong). This is the first time I have ever replaced the OE tire with another OE tire. I think the engineers who designed the bike picked the best tires for it also.

Better than your local Bike shop

I was skeptical at first because the pricing was too good to be true, but when the tire came in I was totally satisfied. First of all the cost in comparison to my local bike store was a big difference by far, and by the way did I mention the shipping was free. The other thing is that the service that is provided by the store to track the status of your shipment was great; they provide a direct link to your specific order without all the hassle of searching yourself. In a nutshell Motorcycle Superstore has my business for sure you don’t have to worry whether this online store is legitimate or not, its the real thing.

Stick with the oem

I have had a lot of litre class bikes well over the 100hp range. This is my second Hayabusa and the rear was in need of replacement. The original oem has lasted over six thousand miles. I ride hard and do a bunch of commuting also. This tire is a great balance and works with the machine well. I have never thought that I needed a stickier tire on this bike. I don't go to the track but, I still love the twisties and the high speed sweepers. I have had this tire in sweepers above triple digits and the bridgestone is solid and predictable. The straight line stability is great even with the throttle pegged out. For regular use I would concider nothing less and the price at Motocycle superstore was great.

Give Stock a chance

All Busa Riders, I have had a lot of time to evaluate this tire, and I must say that I am really pleased with its performance on the street. Trust me this tire has it all; reliability, grip, and longevity. I will not buy another after market tire until they stop making this one period. This tire holds the road giving the rider great confidence especially in corners. I have practically laid my Busa on its side to avoid hitting a car coming off a highway ramp and didn’t slide out one bit, I have taken curves dragging the foot pegs. I don’t care what anyone says about the other name brand tires, the stock BT-56 is my choice. It warms quickly in cold to provide grip without slip, I replaced my last tire at about 18,000mi and I have over 23,000mi now with plenty of riding left in this tire. This is an honest assessment for all my Busa riding family. Stop spending your hard earned money on a name brand because everyone has that tire or because the tread looks good go back to the stock Battle Ax BT-56 and ride with confidence. The Motorcycle Super Store absolutely has the best prices on these tires guaranteed!

OEM for the Hayabusa

Tried others on the Busa, went back to the OEM. Go figure, Suzuki engineered the bike to run this tire only. Best all around for this bike unless you're spending most of the time at the track (then u should run a sticky racing tire that lasts only a day).

2005 Hayabusa rear tire replacement

My tire was delivered quickly and undamaged. It was exactly like the original that came on my bike. This is actually the 3rd time I have ordered tires for my bike through Motorcycle Superstore and have been completely satisfied. The cost is also very competitive! Thanks Motorcycle Superstore!!

Bridgestone - BT56 OE Rear Tire

The tire has decent grip but wears very poorly. My riding consists of approximately 70% commuting and 30% joyriding out in the country. I don't do any racing, burnouts, wheelies, etc. I will be lucky to get 4000 miles out of the rear tire.
