I own 4 bikes and have been trying different oils for the last 10 years. I have not yet found a way to accurately compare different oil brands. That stated, the two factors that seem comparable are the effect of oil on shifting and how it looks after each replacement. Using Motul 7100 has substantially improved shifting, and the during replacement, the oil looks cleaner than any used before. Adding this limited experience to the few online published tests would seem to indicate it is one of the best oils available. Until further evidence points elsewhere I will continue to use this oil.
To be serious I did not use glue. Protaper grips were such a snug fit going on with the surface of protaper contour bar that glue could have caused problems. Problems like not getting them on fast enough and or making mess. Grips dont move on either end.
I ride all year round mostly with a crew. The Crew all have the 1st Chatter Box and the X1-Slim generation Chatterboxes. This new X1-Slim cuts in and out as we ride and try to communicate through Florida's roads! Also, when playing Pandora radio or FM radio ,It cuts in and out ! I rather use the old 1st generation Chatter Box!
comfortable, warm, but starts to get cool to cold in low 30s. I was hoping for something a little warmer in those temperatures.
This is a good buy, and i am sure keeps you warm in the teens or lower if you are not on a bike with all the wind.
This is a good price too, which was the main reason i bought it, but might supplement with something else for lower temps
