Great Value

Great all year around jacket. Converts to our riding needs and to the outside temperature. I have ridden in the lower 40's with the textile shell on and it’s fantastic. It kept me warm in the winter. Now as it’s warming up I have removed the textile shell and am riding with the mesh and polyfill liner and it’s awesome. Today it was 78 and I removed the liner and it’s light and easy to ride with. The only complaint I have is the overall weight of the jacket when it’s all together and its a little time consuming to get the layers on/off. But hey, you can’t have it all I guess. For the $ this is truly a unique and handy invention 2 jackets in 1. Great inner pockets to store all your stuff. I just love it. And its a great fit too.

great

Tourmaster has a great line of jackets...this is my second one. I liked the older style and wasn't sure of the new one but it is growing on me quite well...if it does as well as my old one, 4 years of riding everyday in all weather, then I'll have to go with them again...

Great jacket.

This jacket has 3 layers, including an inner layer for cold weather, and an outer layer for the cooler days. The primary part that I wear is fully vented throughout so I stay cool even when it's 90 and sunny. The layers are easy to zip in and out. Would buy this jacket again and again.

Tour Master flex series 2 jacket

For those of you that live in the mountains or ride year round, this is the ONE jacket you need. The shell for the wet days, the liner inside for cool days and the mesh jacket for the summer days. I have used all three parts parts of the jacket and was very happy. I was concerned about the zipper things I was hearing about, but when I receive the jacket in the mail, I found a set of extra zippers in the pocket. To this day no problems, even with the zippers.

Tour Master Jacket

I had been holding out for leathers, but after a minor spill this summer, I figured I should get some real riding gear. I bought the Tour Master jacket and pants. If I had known the nylon gear was as comfortable and weather forgiving as it is I would have bought long ago. The jacket is great for warm or cool days. I comes in 3 layers, a primary net layer with pads for the not summer days and warm mornings. An outer shell which is said to be water proof, have not tested yet. This layer is great for the cool mornings (down to 38 degF so far) unzip the shoulder vents and good to 85 degF if moving around 40mph. Have not had to try out the inside insulating liner yet. Sizing was on the money based on my measurements and their fitting chart. I would recommend this gear to anyone looking for motorcycle gear and understand the need for protection but still looking for comfort.

I love this Jacket!!

I love the flexibility of this jacket. During the summer months (I live in the Seattle area) I rode with the mesh jacket, sometimes adding the liner if the morning started off cool. I just completed a 984 mile ride from San Francisco to Seattle, and I was very comfortable with the mesh jacket and liner for the daylight hours, and with the outer shell I was kept warm after the sun went down. This isn't a heavy jacket that would work in real cold weather, but overall it should easily handle three seasons of riding.

Best on the market

Great year round product, well worth the money. I feel very comfortable with the added armor. Hopefully I will never go down but if I do I think I will be ok with this jacket

AWESOME jacket!!

I wore this jacket home from the store on my bike up the highway with all 3 layers attached, in 60 degree weather and was VERY hot by the time I got home some 20 mins later. I've worn this jacket daily (without the quilted liner, so far) in temps ranging from 55 - 80 degrees. The jacket is very comfortable and is sufficiently well vented, stopping me from getting too hot regardless of my speed & the weather conditions. It also feels very strong, giving me a good sense of safety. HIGHLY recommended.

Tour Master Flex Series 2 Jacket

This jacket can accommodate any weather and climate that can be dished out in the southwest desert. Hot during the day? Use only the mesh. Cool night? Use the mesh and windbreaker. Colder at night or raining? Use all three parts mesh, windbreaker and outer shell. I also like all the different adjustment like in the waist and arms so that the jacket(s) will fit any body style. I purchased a men's medium which fits perfectly for my female build. I would suggest purchasing in men's sizes for females who maybe size 12 or amply proportioned in the chest.

This jacket was one of the few things I've seen that was actually better than advertised. It was a great buy for the price!

Tour Master Flex Series 2 jacket

Great jacket! Great value, too, particularly for such a versatile jacket. It’s obvious that a lot of thought went into the design, and I have no doubt this jacket will function well for three seasons. The liner is heavy enough that it will definitely keep you warm on those crisp autumn mornings. The fabric, stitching, zippers, button, and Velcro all seem sturdy enough, but its durability can only be tested through use over time. The armor fits perfectly for my body, and didn’t move around. There are lots of pockets. I spent all weekend riding with my new jacket, and since the temps were in the 80s, I used just the mesh layer, which provided a lot of airflow. I haven’t tested this jacket in the rain, but the outer shell is water-resistant and not waterproof. I am 6’4” and 210 pounds, and my other jackets are a Large (Tall). However, with this jacket, I ordered an XL and I’m glad I did-the liner is bulky enough that you’ll want the extra room, particularly if you’re planning on layering clothes. There are a few cons to this jacket, but they are minor, and certainly don’t outweigh the pros. I can see where adding/removing layers on this jacket might be tedious, particularly if you’re standing on the side of the road in the rain, but overall the jacket is well-designed. As another reviewer noted, the waist doesn’t really cinch tight enough. With just the mesh layer, the interior pockets form an effective wind block, somewhat restricting the amount of air flowing through the lower front of the jacket. For the price, I highly recommend this jacket. If you buy this jacket, I believe you will be very satisfied with it.

Love it

This is a large jacket so I had to get a small. This is the warmest jacket I have ever owned, I have been out in high 30's temps and I can't feel any cold air, incredible. The opposite end on the warm days, the mesh only is quite comfortable.

Flex series 2 jacket

I decided to review this jacket because of a few comments on durability. I can tell you first hand they are VERY durabile but not indistructable. I distroyed one but it saved me one hell of a lot of grief while doing it. A truck pulled out in front of me and I had to lay the bike down thank god for these jackets! They work as promised. By the way the jacket came through scuffed and torn but usable. I replaced it with an identical one....now am thinking of a diffrent color, same jacket. The first one was 3 years old when I crashed this is the third year for the second and it is just fine. Oh! yes one more thing I have ridden in several heavy down pours and have not been wet yet....with the outter panal on of course. Five is not a high enough rating!
