Cortech accelerator series 2

This is one great jacket for the enduro rider. Great in the cold and great while in tight trails in the heat with the removable sleeves that stow in the rear fanny pack. The integrated backpack is also A 1. All the storage needed for a jacket with some great armor.

Superb

I like everything about this jacket. The hydration pak is an added plus for long, long rides. the flow-thru air vents work well, even in the southern heat.

Fine jacket for the money...

I ride mostly to work and back but also ride off-road on occasion so I needed a multi-use, cold weather jacket. Have to say the Cortech fit the bill. Highly adjustable and very comfortable with more features than I could imagine (right arm has a small pocket with an integrated string/clip? What the heck is this for?). The forearms are a little tight as others have mentioned but I think they will wear in over time. As a vest, with Camelback installed, this jacket will be great for off-roading what with all the pockets and venting options. So far I am very impressed with this jacket and considering the construction and materials chosen am pleased with the overall price. Jeez, Camelbaks alone can cost anywhere from $69 to $100!

Nice Jacket but...

Bought this for commuting 5+ miles to and from work... My only complaint is that with everything cinched up and the chest liner installed I find it difficult to raise my arms and turn my head. This is the first motorcycle jacket I've owned so it may just be that I haven't broken it in yet or possibly because it's too small for my frame. Although, without the liner(s) the jacket fits perfectly (5'-10” @180lbs). With only the chest liner installed, I am now able to ride to work in 25+ degF temps with no problem. Granted, I'm only riding 5 miles but it's nice to stay warm and still ride every day.

Great jacket

I'm very satisfied by the cost/quality of the product. It fit's perfectly. I'm 5'8 and 150 pounds. I bought a medium size. Protections are great. The water bag will be useful during the hot season. The only thing I would modify is the neck. It doesn't go very high.

Great jacket!

I bought a medium size, i'm 150 and 5'8' and it fit's perfectly. If you have big arms get a size up. I rode all the way from Quebec to Utah and back, the coat was very versatile because of the many vents. The camel back bag is also comfortable for short run. I made people jealous with this jacket, no joke.

Cortech - Accelerator Series 2 Jacket

For a 6'tall and 210 lbs the XL fits great. It is new and feels stiff but it is my first moto jacket so it is probably normal. For quality/price, it is hard to match with all its features. Attention to detail is excellent. About the durability factor, no clue. After my first season with the jacket, I'll know more about it. How waterproof is it? no clue either but not my intention to try to ride all day in pouring rain, I've got rainsuit for that. Compare to a ski jacket you cannot lift your arms without lifting entire jacket, that is my only concern but is it a problem? I'll see in the trails. And the jacket in grey/black is stunning! no joke And I'm a gadget lover so it fits the bill A-1. Ciao

almost perfect

As a quality jacket I am baffled by the sleeves. They seem to be designed for people with very slim arms. As a vest, it rocks.

Worth every penny!

I wore this jacket from april till september everyday, then took it around the country in october, and continue to use it in the winter. 20,000 miles with this on and I love it. Never been cold and I've driven in the snow and cold, below freezing at standing temp. And it's warm. In the summer, there are 8 vents and the sleeves even come off, only take it off when it's over 90 degrees. Small backpack with water bladder included. No they didn't pay me, that'd be niice.

As a vest, it's great. sleeve forearms are to small. Designers need to take into account that dirt-bike riders usually have well developed forearm mussels.

Great Fit and Great Jacket

I just got one of these and I love it. I'm about 6'4" and 185lbs and this jacket fits just about perfectly in a MedTall. The sleeves and body are perfectly long the jacket overall is comfortable. I'm still breaking it in and it is a bit tight with the liner in especially around the elbows but I think that will relax once I've worn it a bit more. Too soon to know how durable it is.

Don't buy w/o trying this jacket on!

This is a very well made, very high quality jacket - if you're a manikin. Forearms are very binding, and you cannot lift your arms without lifting entire jacket - very stiff and no flexibility. Not good for off-road, touring, or anything other than sitting and looking really good! Has wonderful features, and seems very well made, but the designers should have had some actual seat time with it before it was marketed. I hope to see a "Series 3" soon with all these features but actual functionality. Very disappointing!

Too Small or Too Big

I really wanted this jacket, but I just couldn't get a good fit. I take a 48 jacket. The XL would have fit, but the sleeves were way too small. I could not extend my arms out to the handlebars. I returned the XL and ordered an XXL. This one was way too big in the chest and still a bit too small in the sleeves. On a positive note, the Motorcycle Superstore's return policy and speed at which you are credited back for the return is excellent.
