Didn't work for me.
I read the great reviews and thought these would work for me. I have a 2005 1200 Custom and this site recommended these for my bike. They installed just fine but bottomed out, even on the highest setting. That was just me on the bike with no other gear.
Fit great and works great.
Fitted TBird fine, looks as good as original.
Only issue is the bands need to be slightly bent to make install easier, but all good.
Can be fixed
When I installed the mirrors the set screw stripped right off the bat. When I rode my bike the mirrors would loosen after about 15 minutes. I cut out 4 rubber washers out of some plumbing gasket. I put one on the bottom and one on the top between the metal washer and the mount on the handle bars. Next I used the blue lock tight on both mounting screws and removed both set screws. I let the bike sit overnight and took it out for a ride the next day. No movement at all.
Bikemaster Stainless Steel Mirror
Wonderful product. Exactly what the description was.
I used my current stems. I like the angle and height better than the ones that come with the mirrors. I kept the new stems as back ups if needed.
They work fine !
I ride 160 miles a week to work and back home, on some of the most demanding roads in NJ. High speed to jammed packed roads. These brake pads were the easiest things to install on my bike. They work great and feel good on the braking. NO regrets on this purchase.
