This shield works great on my Honda Blackbird. I'm 6'3", and I've ridden at speeds few bikes can do. I've also ridden at highway speeds in some serious crosswinds, and the bike wasn't upset. While it doesn't provide total coverage, it does knock down the wind pressure substantially without any buffeting. If you need more protection, get a touring bike. It's a little flimsier than the stock screen, but fit and finish are excellent.
Nice & easy
This light smoke racing screen looks really sharp with a somewhat transparent screen and double beds. It seems to direct headwind further away from the helmet. Installation was easy. You must loosen the nuts on the mirrors to make it possible to slide in the screen. You have to use the rubber grommets/nuts from the original screen. It takes a little work to twist them in. A little vegetable oil helped. Be careful of the original aluminum screws. If you tighten too much, the head snaps off.

This manual is awesome, read it, and then I understood and followed the instructions. Be creative with stubborn bolts and screws.
pro grip gels
My 3rd pair. Best sporting grip on the market.
Original factory battery was a Yuasa. I replaced it a year ago (exactly) with a much less expensive but fully rated battery. Bike is always on a battery float charger (13.6 V). The cheap battery died in 1 year. It's a pain to install so I decided to pay the bucks and get one that will last a while. Set up was easy BUT there were no instructions on the initial charging. I hope I guessed right! I'm marking down installation by a star because of the lack of these instructions.
Going strong after 8 years in my 2006 Suzuki Vstrom 1000.
