    Throttle Tamer 2015 FZ-09

I bought this based on a Cycle World review for a 2014 FZ-09. While the 2015 model has better mapping, ECU power mode "A" is still harsh in OFF/ON throttle transitions. I thought I would try the Throttle Tamer. The quality of the product is top notch. Nice machine work on the aluminum throttle tube and it has nylon inserts at the touch points. Fit and finish is perfect. But... It didn't really fix the harshness in A mode. $80 would be better spent on an ECU remap.

    Good product

I really like the product. It keeps my hand from going to sleep. 1 recommendation, it does not fit tight enough to the throttle and I have to adjust it sometimes. They should send a thin strip of foam or something so it will fit tighter. I am going to find a piece for mine.

    Better than the originals.

Used on 1984 Honda Nighthawk 650 to replace original mirrors. Stems are longer than original mirrors making it easier to see around my shoulders. The convex shape provides a wide field of view not possible with flat mirrors. These are very lightweight. The only negative is that they adjust TOO easily, and change position when I'm installing or removing my fabric motorcycle cover.

    Good filter

Oil filter arrived quickly and does seem to be high quality. Heavy filter, not thin and cheaply made. Reasonable price, will purchase again.

    Works well!

Took a bit of modification to make it work with factory-installed grip heaters had to drill out the aluminum clamp housing from Bikemaster. Not their fault though- I bought the mirrors knowing it would take some work. Taking time to carefully tighten everything ensured no damage. Great field of view. No vibrations (this is on a BMW boxer)! Small negative: when pivoted in to split lanes, the mirrors will contact my knuckle guards of my riding gloves. But for the price, I'm more than happy.
