Dynojet Stage 1-3 Jet Kit
  • Stage 1: Intended for motorcycles with a stock engine using the stock airbox, air filter and stock pipe. Stage 1 kits are fully adjustable to allow the use of a well designed aftermarket pipes and stock replacement air filters like K&N. Stage 1 kits are designed to improve throttle response and driveability and in most cases power increases of approximately 5% throughout the entire power range can be achieved
  • Stage 3: Intended for motorcycles with stock or mildly tuned engines using a well designed aftermarket pipe and individual air filters. In most cases power increases of 10-15% can be achieved. However driveability may be compromised particularly with short stroke, high rpm motors. On some modern engine and airbox designs, individual filters and proper jetting offer no performance improvement yet compromise driveability, in such cases stage 3 kits are not available

1992 Yamaha Seca II (XJ600)

Installed the Stage 1 kit; drilling the slides was pretty easy, I thought it would be tougher. I'm very glad this kit comes with tapered needles, they have made my low range (2000-4000 rpm) so much smoother. I tried removing a restrictive cover off my air filter to let it breathe better, and found that the bike wouldn't rev past 6k. Put it back on, and it feels fantastic! Pulls much harder; the engine note has changed completely, in a good way. It used to have nothing until 5k rpm, now it pulls hard all the way from 2k, and seems to pull even harder than it used to all the way up over 9k. I think it was leaning out without the airbox restriction. If I feel I need more power down the road, I'll probably put the stage 3 jet in (the 128 jet) and take the air filter cover back off; but this bike definitely has enough power to get me through another season now. This kit has transformed my underpowered, lean-running bike into a fantastic machine. I am amazed! I think this is partly because the Seca is very poorly jetted to begin with...your results may vary. But if you own a seca II definitely do it! My warm-up times have also been reduced dramatically.

Dynojet - Stage 1-3 Intake Performance Kit

I used the stage 1 parts from the kit. Kit was very simple to install. Instructions very easy to follow. Did take some time but I've learned to be patient with small carb parts. Kit would be better value if I could've purchased the 1 set of jets that I needed for my application. The bike is 17yrs old and hasn't run this good since day 1.

Dyno Jet Kit

I installed the jet kit on my 85 Suzuki GS700E and was able to achieve a noticeable difference in performance. Started with the Stage 1 and worked my way up to the Stage 3 until I felt like I had reached the max potential without changing exhaust and the cams. Getting rid of the stock airbox by using this kit was a real plus for performance and ease of maintenance on the carbs. Instructions were clear and simple. I was worried about drilling out the slide, but it all worked when done.

91 FZR 1000

I used the stage 1. So easy to install. Just follow directions. The only thing that was different from the instructions and my bike were the fuel/air mixture screw. Mine was located in a different spot. Haven't dyno'd it but does feel different

Personally I would not recommend the kit.

All I needed was the stage 3 jet, but could only find the stage 1-3 kit so cost benefit is not good. The good was that Installation was easy. The bad is I have a GS500 and could not get it to run right with the new needles that come with it. After trying all the different positions of the clip to raise and lower the needle still could not get it right. I called tech support and I was using the right size jet for the bike because of the sports exhaust and K&N air filter. Eventually out of frustration I put the stock needles back in and after a little adjustment it is now running really good, but all I ended up using from the kit was the jet. I would recommend just trying to find the jets by themselves.
