Crash Mendo,  CA Good Product These traction pads are a good buy. Even if you aren't dragging your knees they still help keep you sticking to where you want to be. Be sure to follow install instructions and use a hair dryer to heat up the pads.

A. Tam Chicago,  IL Stomp Grip - Traction Pads - Clear (`08 CBR1000RR) I've used Stomp Grip for a few years now and they are good especially for trackdays but perhaps less so for street riding. The studded texture of the pads helps your thighs grip the tank with less force - usefully during heavy braking and hanging off. On the street, the pads might help the rider distribute weight a bit better, especially on sport bikes. This may help with fighting fatigue on longer rides... instead of supporting your weight with your arms and shoulders and lower back, the thighs and trunk of the body should also carry some of the weight. Aesthetically, I'm sure some people may not like the looks of the pads. They look a bit industrial and are certainly function over form. I noticed Stomp also offers black tracking pads that might be more appealing. On the plus side, the pads do provide significant protection for the tank against wear and scratches. Installation is a bit time consuming, with the clear pads, you have to work hard to get all the air bubbles out. It's a niche product but worth a look if you do trackdays or are into spirited street riding.

Paul Rosal Drexel Hill,  PA Stomp Grip works Works well keeping your legs in place under braking and cornering. Added benefit of shielding your legs from a cold fuel tank. Kind of a pain to install, hard to line up both sides evenly.

hawk QC,  IL wonderful product Stomp grip is an awesome product. Make sure you clean your tank with brake cleaner in order to make it an optimum surface to install on. Also, make sure you use a heat gun like it says to heat the paint area (obviously be careful with that) and to heat the stomp grip itself as hot as you can handle... this will make for optimum stickiness and they will look great. They work great, they aren't always the most comfortable, but they're functional. If you are need more comfort, go for the tech specs.

chris ciccarelli williamsport,  MD stomp grip - tank protector My bike was washed before putting it on but it still didn't stick well. The outter edge keeps peelling back at high speeds. I can fill it tapping me on the knees.

dan morgantown,  WV rough I bought these hoping just for something to help me grip the tank with my legs when going around turns or when I was getting leaned on by my pillion rider. The pads do help with my leg grip, but they are very rough in texture and I think something a little bit smoother would have worked just as well for what I needed. They fit great and were very simple to install.

Robert Richmond,  CA Stomp Grips These work great. I would suggest these more aggressive ones over Tech Grips if you are using them on a track bike. If your just going to be on the street, maybe these are a little to aggressive. Over time they will wear out your leathers on your inner thighs.
