Great sound for the money
Shortly after getting my new Yamaha R6 I decided that I need to replace the stock exhaust. I research many different makes and models. Since price was a concern and this piece was probably the cheapest one I saw I decided to buy it. So glad I did this thing sounds great and looks even better and only took about 20 minutes to install.

Comp. Werkes Slip-on....
I am extremely curious about purchasing this pipe for my bike. I have a K7 Gixxer 750, it appears the only closest bike I have heard was a R6 (any bike similar in cc's). I am attempting to do as much research ( sound bites )as possible, before purchasing. All the feedback I have reviewed is extremely positive so therefore.... it’s a winner! Thanks to everyone!!

Good but could be better
First of all this slip-on makes the bike sound great. It doesn't make it much louder but adds a deeper growl to the sound. Looks awesome on the bike. Bad side is the stock clamp, the instructions say to use but it does not work, there is no longer a flange on the new slip on for the clamp to sit around. I didn't use one at all since the fit is really tight, the expansion slot is too long so it allows leakage anyway so that isn't an issue (doesn't matter anyway, exhaust is just open pipe no baffling) Also your gonna have to loosen the bolts on the peg bracket to get mounting bolt for slip on to fit hole but thats no big deal, the instructions just don't let you know that. All and all I would recommend this product if all you want is an open slip on for a little better sound. If you want it real loud go with the fmf, close to same money but removes stock cat/muffler.
